A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER

lyla's pov

*its been a few weeks since the accident my hand was healed brett and i both returned to work last shift, this shift we had a photoshoot with the firehouse all the guys were wearing the uniform and told the girls to wear dresses , i have been in the firehouse for 5 years now and those are the best 5 years of my life *

AT THE FIREHOUSE

me: supp yall

brett: girl you got the dress

me: yeah

stella: can we see

emily: i prefer if we see it when we get dressed

me: its a surprise 

*i left the room *

kelly: oh she has no idea whats about to come

herrman: shuhshh she can hear you

casey: *lightly slaps kellys head* yes dumbo

kelly: heyy

*i enter back after changing to my uniform *

me: brett

brett: what up 

me: im getting fat

*brett gave me the death stare *

brett: stick thin and you say youre getting fat 

emily: but think if you get pregnant youd be a cute one

me: not anytime soon 

stella: okay so kelly and i moved in together

me: what happened to my old bedroom

stella: still your bedroom if you  have to run back from jay 

emily: no you cant run back he's perfect dude

brett: lyla is perfect and he's lucky 

me: yeah sure *laughs*

*it was a easy shift we had one call for a house fire but it was not a big fire just a casual stove fire other than that 81 didnt have any other calls which is unusual cuz usually 51 is super busy*

cruz: captain 

me: yeah

cruz: its time for the shoot uh kelly told me to tell you all the girls are in the bathroom getting ready 

 me: thank you cruz 

cruz: anything captain

*i picked up my dress and my shoes and went to the bathroom where stella , emily and brett were getting dress*

me: looking good 

stella: never gonna look better than the queen

me: oh shut it you all are beautiful the way you are

*i went in one of the stalls to get dress i was wearing a lacy  light pink dress with some pale pink heels and for makeup i had smokey pink eyes and rest was just my normal light make up*
