"I had a dream
I got everything I wanted
But when I wake up, I see
You with me
And you say, 'As long as I'm here
No one can hurt you"

My eyes fluttered open for me to see that I was in a bedroom, not my bedroom, definitely someone else's. I immediately noticed that I was laying in a bed, under a blanket that I've never seen before. I was changed out of my suit and was wearing an oversized t-shirt. Creasing my eyebrows in confusion, I slowly sat up and looked around the bed that wasn't mine, trying to figure out how I got here.

"You're up." A smooth voice commented. I looked up to see Natasha standing in front of the door, wearing something more casual while holding a stack of folded clothes in her hands.

"Nat." I sighed, a bit relieved to see that I wasn't kidnapped by Ultron or something. "Where are we?" I questioned.

"Clint's house, we're gonna be laying low for a bit." Nat explained, walking closer to the end of the bed. I looked around the room and noticed toys sitting on a few shelves.

"I didn't know he had kids." I acknowledged, before bowing my head down and letting out a heavy breath. "Did anyone get hurt?" I asked, remembering what happened in Africa.

"No." Nat answered in a sure tone.

"How bad was it?" I inquired, still looking down at my lap. The thing with Natasha is, I can always count on her for a straight answer. She doesn't try to sugarcoat things like Dad does.

"Tony said you started a 5.3 earthquake, so, you only brought down a couple palm trees. He also said that stunning yourself was the best thing you could've done. Otherwise, it would've been buildings instead of trees." Nat assured before I nodded my head in understanding.

"How is he?" I changed the subject, but Natasha still knew who I was referring to.

"A bit angry, mostly scared, though." Nat answered, talking about Dad. "Look, I don't know what you saw, but I have a pretty good idea of what it was. What happened, what you did, you can't just forget about it, but you can move on." Natasha reassured.

"Thanks, Nat." I looked back up at her before giving her an indistinct smile.

"Steve's outside. Laura offered to give you some old clothes." Nat set down the stack of clothes on the end of the bed.

"Laura?" I confusingly questioned, tilting my head a bit to the side.

"Mrs. Barton." Natasha clarified as she raised her eyebrows.
