"You never mentioned a child was there." I replied, remembering the little girl that I murdered in cold blood.
"I don't see why it makes any difference." Alexander Pierce defended.
"She was innocent, she didn't ask to live the life her parents brought her in." I slightly raised my voice.
"Your orders were to eliminate Henderson and all witnesses that lived in the household."

LONDON, ENGLAND JUNE 22, 2016
A small group of people were gathered in a room, dressed in all black. I wore a collared shirt under a blazer with dress pants. My hair was tied back in a half-up ponytail. All the other funeral guests where in the chancel. But before the service, there was a small gathering of direct family and close friends. Although, I still felt slightly out of place. Plus, Dad wasn't here since he was a pallbearer. So I stood alone and to the side with my hands resting in my pockets.
I saw a man from across the room, looked in his late 50's. He seemed so familiar for some reason.
My confusion stopped when I quickly recognized who he was. "Daniel?" I tried to grab his attention. Once he turned around, I could tell he instantly recognized who I was.
Daniel Carter: Born in 1958, married with two children, lives in Hampstead, England, owns an insurance company... and is my half-brother.
"Sarah." He held out his hand. "It's nice to finally meet you."
"You, too." I shook his hand and nodded. "I'm sorry we didn't meet sooner." After reuniting with Mum, she told me about her son that she had, years after my disappearance. But for some reason, the two of us never made any effort to meet.
"Oh, it's no worries." Daniel reassured. "I just wish me met under different circumstances."
"Me, too." I agreed. An awkward silence started to grow between us. We both turned to the picture frame with Mum that sat on the table, staring at it as the tension only grew. "I know this is a bit odd. It was probably surprising for you to learn you had a half-sister."
"Actually, it was more frustrating, if I'm being honest." Daniel replied. I raised my eyebrows and paused for a moment.
