6 months...

6 months had passed and Hongjoong was still dealing with the heartache of when Seonghwa left. It was 2 months since he last saw Luna as well.

Right now, Hongjoong was sitting on his window seat in his room with his head resting on the cold glass and looking out at the city. He felt empty. He felt like Seonghwa had taken a part of his heart with him back to Hell.

Over the past 6 months, Hongjoong hadn't left his apartment that much; only going to his classes but that was it. After the incident with that strange dude who knew his name, he didn't feel safe. He kept thinking about the man's voice and how it sounded so familiar.

Hongjoong closed his eyes and sighed. The sun was slowly rising, it appearing beyond the horizon and the light shining between the buildings. He opened his eyes before standing up and making his way to the kitchen to make breakfast.

As he walked into the lounge room, he looked down at the rug which was covering the pentagram. He wanted to see Seonghwa again. Hongjoong's eyes grew watery and he shook his head.

"You have to let him go..." he whispered and bit his lip to stop it from trembling. He squeezed his eyes shut and a tear rolled down his cheek. Gripping onto the back of the couch, he started crying and he clenched his shirt where his heart was. It still hurt so bad.

Hongjoong quietly cried for a few minutes. "He's not coming back." He shook his and wiped away the tears, but they just kept falling. "He d-doesn't want you," he whispered and it really hurt to say those words.

He went into the kitchen to make his food, trying his best to push the thought of Seonghwa to the back of his mind.

———

This was ridiculous.

Hongjoong had pulled the rug away and was now sitting cross-legged in front of the pentagram, staring at it. He knew Seonghwa didn't want to see him again, that's why he hadn't shown up for months.

His heart was aching to see the demon but that wasn't going to happen and it made his heart hurt more. Hongjoong sighed once again and ran his hand over the pentagram. He stood up and went back into the kitchen to do the dishes.

Once Hongjoong was done cleaning everything up, he made his way to his bedroom where he got undressed. He pulled the red and black plaid skirt on with black thigh-high socks. He put on a cropped hoodie and sat down on the bed.

He felt in the mood to dress pretty today. He lay back on his bed, arms spread out wide and he closed his eyes.

Without realising, he fell asleep and his dream was filled with the demon who he couldn't get out of his head, no matter how hard he tried.

About an hour later, Hongjoong woke up still lying in the same position that he fell asleep in and he slowly sat up. Seconds passed when someone knocked at his front door and he got up to answer it. On the other side were his friends and when they saw what their hyung was wearing, all of their eyes widened.

"What?" Hongjoong asked in confusion when he saw their reactions.

"Nice skirt and socks, hyung," Yeosang said with a smile.

The older's eyes widened and he looked down now remembering that he was wearing a skirt, his face going a dusty pink.

"I forgot I was wearing this," he said and stepped aside to let his friends inside.

"You don't need to change if you're comfortable with what you're wearing, you look nice," Yunho said and Hongjoong's blush darkened.

"Thanks. Why are you guys here?" He closed the door and turned to look at the others.
