The Scent of Your Blood

Chapter 6

(Monday, 8 AM)

When Hongjoong saw that the room was getting brighter he let out a tired sigh before climbing off of the bed and walked into the lounge/kitchen/dining room. There was a knock on his apartment door making him nearly jump through the roof. He walked over to unlock it and opened the door to see Yunho standing in front of him with a smile that dropped into a frown when he saw his hyung with slightly dark bags under his eyes.

"Hyung, you look dead," he said and Hongjoong chuckled.

"Thanks," He turned around and walked into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee.

"You didn't sleep well I'm guessing?" Hongjoong shook his head. "If you're too tired you don't have to come."

"I'm not staying here." He started to tear up. Yunho walked closer to him and Hongjoong wrapped his arms around him.

"Yunho, I was grabbed again the other night." He cried. He chose to leave out the whole getting scratched thing, the taller male didn't need to know. Yunho hugged him back.

"Why don't you come live with me from now on? Get out of here before you get hurt even more."

Hongjoong sighed. "I don't want to be annoying."

"You won't be annoying, hyung."

"Okay," he nodded, agreeing with his friend.

"Let's just go camping and worry about packing up all your things when we get back."

"Okay."

Footsteps stomped down the hallway and Wooyoung poked his head in. "Hey, what's taking so long? Let's move!" His loud voice made Hongjoong and Yunho chuckle.

Once Hongjoong's luggage was packed then put in the car, he got in the passenger seat and Yunho started the engine before driving off. San and Wooyoung played on the Switch that they had brought. Yeosang, Jongho and Mingi played a multiplayer game on their phones. They were only about 15 minutes into the drive but Hongjoong was starting to dose off.

Within minutes, he was knocked out and Yunho noticed when the older man wasn't replying. He glances at him and smiles.

It's gonna be a long drive...

(1:13 PM)

They arrive at the camping site after being on the road for 5 hours due to traffic and a few pitstops. Hongjoong had slept the whole journey and Yunho woke him up when the others went inside.

"Hyung, wake up. We're here." He groaned and opened his eyes. "Good afternoon sleepy head." Yunho smiled and the older man grinned back.

"You said we've arrived?"

Yunho nodded. "C'mon, the boys are waiting inside with the luggage."

Hongjoong got out of the car and the two head inside after Yunho locked the car.

"We're around at building 5," Yeosang says, holding up a key to show them.

They made their way over to the mentioned camping area where they begin setting up the tents and chairs. Wooyoung slumped into one of the chairs that were around the fire pit and he let out a tired sigh.

"That was tiring." He closed his eyes, enjoying the warm sun.

The others sat down when they were done and chatted about random things. "Are you okay Hongjoong-hyung?" San asked and Hongjoong looked at him.
