Hongjoong and Luna were on the couch watching whatever was playing on the TV. The hybrid had her back against Hongjoong's chest. The male's arms were wrapped around her stomach and his chin was resting on top of her head. Her cat ears would twitch occasionally and it made Hongjoong smile. She was so cute.

"Are you hungry?" Hongjoong asked and Luna nodded as she tilted her head back, looking at her mortal friend with big sparkly eyes.

"What do you have?"

Hongjoong and Luna put together homemade pizza. They had fun and the hybrid just had to make a big mess. Hongjoong had his back turned to her when she burst out laughing.

"Joongie, look." The male turned around and looked over her shoulder to see that she had made a mess on the counter with the tomato sauce. "I drew Seonghwa," she grinned and snorted out a laugh.

"But that's a di— oh." Realisation hit Hongjoong and he started laughing along with her.

Once the pizza was cooked, they sat down and ate while they watched a series, though, they weren't really paying much attention. They mostly talked and Hongjoong almost choked on his food as he laughed at a stupid joke Luna made.

The food was soon gone and the hybrid relaxed back against her friend. He hugged her and rested his chin on top of her head again.

"Hey, I knew I would find you here," Seonghwa's voice made the mortal glance at him and Luna tensed slightly but she didn't pay him any attention, her focus staying on the screen.

The demon walked around the lounge to stand in front of the two. He was about to speak again when something caught his attention and he frowned, his brows furrowing.

"Luna, what happened?" He crouched down and reached out to gently cup his friend's bruised cheek.

Luna started to tear up and she bit her bottom lip to stop it from trembling. Well, looks like she would have to tell him anyway since he's here and he saw the bruise...

"Did my father do this to you? And don't lie to me."

She slowly nodded and Seonghwa clenched his jaw, his eyes glowing red.

"I've had enough of this," the demon growled and stood up.

"Seonghwa, please, I'm okay."

He glared down at her.

"Don't tell me you're okay 'cause I can see you aren't. Just because he is the King of Hell does NOT mean he has the right to treat you or anyone like shit! This has to stop," Seonghwa looked at Hongjoong.

"Make sure she stays here until I get back."

"Seonghwa!" Luna shouted.

The demon quickly left back through the portal. Luna got out of Hongjoong's hold and ran towards the portal. The mortal sat up on his knees and reached out to grab her arm.

"Luna, please listen to him, he's only trying to protect you." She looked at her friend with watery eyes.

"That's what I fear! When he tries to stand up for me or anyone, he gets hurt by his father! The King of Hell doesn't like when others stand up for themselves or others."

Hongjoong furrowed his brows. "Why?"

Luna glanced at the pentagram. "Because if you do that, Satan thinks that you're going against him, that you're trying to pick a fight. Now please let me go so that I can—" the portal lit up red and the hybrid stared at it with wide eyes.

"Oh no, he's locked it!" Luna pulled her arm out of Hongjoong's hold. She leaned on her hands and knees. "I'm not going to be able to open it because only the demon that seals it can unlock it," tears roll down her face and she sits back. "He's gonna get himself seriously hurt..."
