Chapter 44

Seonghwa buttons up his shirt as Hongjoong slides off of his lap, sitting to the right of the demon.

"Sorry about interrupting your sexy time but your best friends are here to play video games with you," Mingi said and sits down on the couch beside Seonghwa. Hongjoong blushed at Mingi's choice of words. Yunho shut the front door after he walked in and sat beside his boyfriend.

"And we also need to talk about a kinda serious subject that you need to know," the taller male said and Hongjoong sat up.

"What is it?"

Yunho sighed.

"I know you have a vagina hyung, but I don't care," Mingi spoke up and Hongjoong tensed, his eyes widening in shock. A sick, fearful feeling washed over him.

"H-how—how do you know? Did Yunho tell you?" He glanced at Yunho and the taller frowned. He looked guilty.

"When we met Seonghwa, I asked him why he was drinking your period blood without even thinking. That's how Mingi found out." It went silent for a minute. "I still find that really gross, by the way," Yunho cringed and Seonghwa chuckled.

"We were going to wait until you were comfortable enough to tell all of us, but we had a talk about this and decided to tell you," Mingi said.

Hongjoong blinked a few times and he looked down.

"I... I'm not mad..." he looked back up and smiled, "...I was a little scared, but I'm glad you guys mentioned this to me and thanks Mingi."

The aforementioned smiled. "Why would I want to end our friendship over something that's not serious?" Mingi reached over and ruffled his hyung's hair. "Okay, well, now that that is all taken care off, what game do you guys wanna play?" Mingi stands up and crouches down in front of the Nintendo Switch before opening the cabinet to look through the many games Hongjoong had.

"Mario Kart?" He holds up the case.

"Yeah, put in whatever game you want," Hongjoong said and the tall man presses the power button before putting the card into the console. He grabs four controllers, handing one to Yunho then holds out two for Hongjoong and Seonghwa.

"I don't know how to play this thing so you guys go ahead," the demon said as Hongjoong grabbed one.

"Wait, you have never played a Nintendo Switch?" Mingi asked in disbelief and Seonghwa nodded.

"I've never played these things, whatever you humans call them."

Hongjoong giggled and threw his legs over his boyfriend's lap.

"We call them consoles, Hwa," he said and leans back on the armrest.

"We can teach you how to play if you'd like?" Yunho asked and the demon shook his head.

"No, it's fine, you guys go ahead."

Mingi shrugs then sat down. He placed the spare controller on the coffee table and they started the game. The demon glanced down at Hongjoong when the human started to move around and smiles. Many rounds had past. The three friends were swearing and shouting at each other which make Seonghwa smile. Hongjoong sat up and stuck his tongue out slightly, eyes focused on the screen. He was in second place and was catching up to Mingi.

"Come on, come on, come on, I'm so close to being first," he swings his legs off of Seonghwa's thighs and sits on his lap. The demon smiles as he wraps his arms around his boyfriend's stomach and rests his chin on his shoulder.

Hongjoong got a red shell and threw it, it hitting Mingi's character and he passed him. He crossed the finish line in first place and Hongjoong threw his arms up.
