"She's my family." -Dean Winchester
Episode 15
Dean's POV
I am in the police car with Kathleen who points to a passing traffic camera. "Okay, the next traffic cam is fifty miles from here, and the pick up didn't pass that one, so.." She trails off.
"So, it must've pulled off somewhere. I didn't see any other roads here." I say. "Well, a lot of these back woods properties have their own private road." She says as I get annoyed. "Great." I say as I stare out the window.
"So Gregory." She says and I turn my head and look at her. "Yeah?" I ask. "I ran your badge number. It's routine when we're working a case with State Police. For accounting purposes and what have you." She says.
"Mmhmm." I nod. "And, uh, they just got back to me." She says as she pulls the car over to the side of the road. "It says here your badge was stolen." She says ad I look surprised.
"And there;s a picture of you." She says as she turns the computer to me and I see the picture of a heavy African-American man. "I lost some weight." I chuckle. "And I got that Michael Jackson skin disease." I say.
"Okay, would you step out of the car, please?" She asks. "Look, look, look." I say causing her stop from getting out of the car. "If you wanna arrest me, that's fine. I'll cooperate I swear. But, first, please let me find Skye." I say.
"I didn't even know who you are. Or if this Skye person is missing." She says. "Look into my eyes and tell me if I'm lying about that." I say. "Identity theft? You're impersonating an officer." She says.
"Look, here's the thing. When we were young, I pretty much looked after her. And ever since them I've felt responsible for her. Like it's my job to keep her safe. I'm just afraid if we don't find her fast...please." I say as my voice breaks.
"She's my family." I say. "I'm sorry. You've given me no choice. I have to take you in." She says as she glances at her visor. I see her catch a photo of her and another man, smiling. She looks sad and she let's out a sigh.
"After we find Skye Lacey." She says as she fastens her seat belt.
