Episode 6 Skin

Skye's POV

We climb out the window and onto the street. "Come on we gotta find a phone, call the police." Sam says. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You're gonna put an APB out on me." Dean says. Sam just shrugs.

"Sorry." Sam says. "Told you karma's gonna bite you in the ass when you tried to make the skin touch me you ass." I say and Dean rolls his eyes. "This way." He says. I'm glad to have the real Dean back. We run down the street.

3rd POV

The S.W.A.T team is the shapeshifter crosses the hall and goes into another room. Just as he opens the balcony doors in the second the S.W.A.T team enters. "Freeze! Drop the knife! Drop the knife! Drop the knife!" A police officer yells.

The shapeshifter throws the knife at the police officer, and the rest of the team begins shooting. The shapeshifter kicks one of the men, then goes outside and jumps off the balcony, onto the grass below.

"Come on! Come on! Go! Go!"A police officer yells. The shapeshifter runs away, while the team continues to shoot and miss him several times.

Skye's POV

We are standing in front of a store window, watching a news report that is being shown on a display of televisions. "An anonymous led police to a home in the central west end, where a S.W.A.T team discovered a local woman bound and gagged. Her attacker, a white male, approximately twenty-six to thirty years of age, was discovered hiding in her house." The reporter says.

A sketch of Dean appears on the screen. "Man! That's not even a good picture." Dean groans. "Really is that all you care about?" I ask. Sam looks around cautiously.

"It's good enough." Sam says and walks away. "Man!" Dean yells and we follow after Sam.

We make it to the alley by Rebecca's. "Come on." Sam says. "They said attempted murder. At least we know.." Dean cuts him off. "I didn't kill her. And most importantly the shithead raped Skye." Dean snaps.

"Dean stop it." I say. "No I will not stop it! It's my job to protect you!" Dean yells. "We'll check with Rebecca in the morning, see if she's alright." Sam says. "Alright, but first I wanna find that handsome devil and kick the holy crap out of him." Dean says.

We stop walking. "We have no weapons. No silver bullets." Sam says. "Sam, the guys walking around with my face, he hurt Skye in the worst possible way, I wanna find him." Dean says.

"Okay. Where do we look?" Sam asks. "Well, we could start with the sewers." Dean says. "We have no weapons. He stole our guns, we need more." I say. "The car." Sam says. "I'm bettin he drove over to Rebecca's." Dean says. "The news said he fled on foot. I bet it's still parked there." Sam says.

"The thought of him driving my car." Dean growls. "Alright, come on." Sam says and we start walking. "It's killing me that he did that to you Skye." Dean says. "Let it go." My voice cracks. I don't want to think about it. I want to forget. But how can I ever forget about something like that?

Once we arrive at Rebecca's we walk around the side of the house and see Dean's car parked. "Oh, there she is! Finally something went right tonight." Dean says. A police car appears and parks next to Dean's car. "Spoke too soon." I say.

We turn around, but another police car is parked a few yards away. "This way, this way." I say as I move towards a fence. "You two go. I'll hold them off." Sam says. "What are you talking about? They'll catch you." Dean says.

"Look, they can't hold me. Just go, keep out of sight. Meet me at Rebecca's." Sam says. Me and Dean start climbing the fence. "Dean." Sam says. Dean stops and turns around. "Stay out of the sewer's alone." Sam says.

Dean says nothing and hops over the fence then catches me as I jump down. "I mean it!" Sam yells. "Yeah, yeah!" Dean yells back.

We make it to the car and Dean get's weapons from the trunk. "Dean you heard Sam." I say. "I'm sorry. But you know me. I just can't wait." Dean says.

Dean's POV

Once I am in the sewer I look around as I come across a chamber filled with candles and chairs. Revolting piles of skin and blood are on the floor.

I hear a noise and move to another area of the sewers. I see a large figure covered with a sheet. I remove it and see Rebecca.

Her hands and feet are bound together with rope. "Rebecca?" I ask as I untie the ropes. "What happened?" I ask. "I was walking home and everything just went white. Someone hit me over the head, and I wound up here just in time to see that thing turn into me. I don't know how is that even possible?" She cries.

"Okay okay. It's okay." I say and finish untying her. "Come on. Can you walk?" I ask and she nods. "Okay, we've gotta hurry. Sam and Skye went to see you." I say.

Skye's POV

I see the shapeshifter change back into the form of Dean. He finishes tying up me and Sam. Then he starts walking towards the kitchen. "What are you going to do to us?" Sam asks. "Oh, I'm not gonna do anything. Dean will, though." He says. "They'll never catch him." Sam says.

"Oh, doesn't matter. Murder in the first of his own brother and his girlfriend? He'll be hunted the rest of his life." He says as he picks up a sharp knife and examines it. "I must say, I will be sorry to lose this skin. Your brother's got a lot of good qualities. You should appreciate him more than you do." He says as he pours himself a drink. "Cheers." He says. He takes a drink then picks up the knife from the kitchen and sticks it into the edge of the pool table. Sam lifts up his legs and kick the shapeshifter to the ground.

Sam quickly sits up and moves his hands up and down on the edge of the sharp knife. I work on my own ropes with my knife. His ropes break apart. The shapeshifter gets up. I am able to break mine and I use my knife. I swing at him but he grabs my arm mid-swing and twists it.

I fall to the ground. "Oh, you son of a bitch." I say and we start fighting. "Missed the fun we had?" He asks. I try to pin him down. "Not bad sweetheart besides I like my girls on top." He says.

You're not him." I say as we continue to fight. The shapeshifter throws e into a bookshelf. It falls apart, and books fall on top of me. Sam gets up and start fighting him. He throws me into a wall. I groan trying to get up. "Even when we were kids, I always kicked your ass." He says,

Then ge grabs a pool cue and swings at Sam but misses and hits a light fixture, they fall onto a coffee table. I place my hands on the wall using it to help me get up. The shifter pins Sam to the floor and starts to choke him. "Hey." The real Dean says.

I look at him as he aims at the shapeshifter and shoots him in the heart twice. The shapeshifter falls to the ground dead. Rebecca enters and sees Sam on the floor. "Sam!" She gasps and rushes over to him. Dean walks to the shapeshifters body and yanks his necklace from around his neck.

The next day me and Dean are by the car looking at a map. "You sure you're okay?" Dean asks me. I look at him. "I don't know Dean. I don't think I'll ever be okay." I sigh. I see Rebecca wave goodbye to me and Dean.

We wave back and she goes inside the house. "So, what about your friend Zack?" Dean asks. "Cops are blaming this Dean Winchester guy for Emily's murder. They found the murder weapon in the guy's lair. Zack's clothes stained with her blood. Now they're thinking maybe the surveillance tape was tampered with. Yeah, Becca says Zack will be released soon." Sam says with a smile.

Dean rolls his eyes and we get in the car. Dean starts driving. "Sorry man." Dean says. "About what?" He asks. "I really wish you could just be...in College." Dean says. "No, that's okay. You know the truth is, even at Standford, deep down. I never really fit in." Sam says.

"Well, that's cause you're a freak." Dean chuckles. "Yeah, thanks." Sam scoffs. "Well, we are all freaks, too. I'm right there with you, all the way." I say. "You know. I gotta say I'm sorry I'm gonna miss it." Dean says.

"Misswhat?" Sam asks. "How many chances am I gonna have to see my ownfuneral?" Dean asks as we all smile at each other laughing.
