Lost and Found (DreamxReader)

Chapter 10

After the group had eaten lunch, they started the tedious job.

Y/N, Dan, and Nick were on chestplate duty; Aphmau and Aaron on boots; Lizzy and Stacy on helmets; and finally George and Bad on leggings.

"Hey, Aaron, can you pass me another diamond? I miscounted," Y/N asked him, walking over to where Aph and Aaron were hammering away at the boots.

"Hmm? Oh yeah. Here," Aaron passed Y/N the shiny, blue gem.

"Thanks," she thanked him, heading back to Nick and Dan.

After about 5 or so hours, the group had completed 7 sets of armor.

"How about we call it quits for now? You can all either head home tomorow morning or help with the last two sets of armor and tools," Y/N suggested.

"Good idea. I'm sure we all want to get back to our homes and pets," Lizzy imputed.

"Mhm. And I'm *yawn* getting tired," Aphmau told the group.

"Alright, it's settled. Let's hit the hay. Tomorrow we'll decide whether we want to stay or go home," Dan said. They exchanged good nights and went to their own beds.

"A little longer, Sushi, and then we can take a break," Y/N told her horse.

"Y/N?" someone said from behind her.

"Who was that?" Y/N asked, turning around.

"Y/N..I..I cant believe it's you...," he said.

"Who are you?" The confused girl asked. "And why do you know my name?"

"Y/N it's me, Clay," the boy said.

"Clay?" Y/N said, eyes starting to water a bit.

"Mhm. It's me. I'm so sorry I didn't come in time on your birthday,"

"You idiot!" Y/N shouted at him, running to hug him. "I can't believe it."

"I've been looking all over for you," Clay told her.

"You have?" She asked.

"Yeah. Just promise me you won't forget me," he told the girl.

"I promise! But why?" She asked again.

"I won't stop searching for you Y/N," he told her, before releasing from the hug and walking away until he faded out of sight.

"CLAY! CLAY COME BACK! PLEASE!" Y/N chased him with tears running down her face. She couldn't seem to catch up to him.

Y/N bolted up, tears pricking the ends of her clamped shut eyes.

"No, Clay. Don't leave! Please..," Y/N begged, not realizing it was a dream. Berry pawed her gently, trying to help. Y/N slowly opened her eyes, staring at her bedsheets.

"It was just a dream...," she whispered. Her tear struck face sparkling with the few rays of moonlight that shone through her window. Berry whined silently, worried for her owner.

"I'm okay, Berry. It was just a dream," she assured her wolf, whispering the last part. She got out of bed and walked over to her dirty clothes hamper, where Clay's neon hoodie was laying on the top. She picked it up and shook it, making sure no dirt was left on it. Then she put it on and lay back down. She curled up and hugged Esther.

"I miss you, Clay," Y/N whispered before falling back into a dreamless sleep.
