Chapter 15

At Dan's place....

"Okay, we got everything?" Lizzy asked, pulling on her golden boots. "Ugh, these things weigh like 50 pounds!"

"Just be glad they're on your feet," Y/N giggled.

After everyone finished preparing, the entered the Nether.

Y/N looked around before gasping. "GUYS! I-I mean guys!" Y/N said, lowering her tone to a whisper. "There's a fortress over there!"

Everyone looked to where Y/N was pointing.

"She's right!"

"We finally found one!"

"Augh! We did it!"

After the cheers they mined a tunnel towards it, Nick almost falling into lava several times. After about 10 minutes of mining, they made it to a bridge.

George built a bridge over to the open walkway of the fortress. After he finished, everyone walked across.

The group immediately split up to search for the blazes. Nick, George, and Bad were on one team; Lizzy, Aaron, and Dan on another; and Y/N, Stacy, and Aphmau on the last.

Team one went left, team two went forward, leaving team three too go right.

Team one had the least run-in with monsters, finding chests, warts, and other things.

Team two had the best luck. After only five minutes of walking, they found a spawner and collected a few blaze rods, 6 to be exact, before the blazes stopped spawning. The un-experienced group stupidly broke the spawner and set it in a nearby chest.

Team three had very little luck on their side. First, Aphmau almost fell over a ledge when she tripped over a stray piece of netherrite. Then, Y/N accidentally provoked a wither skeleton, and the group had to run for five minutes before finally escaping it. They wandered around for the next ten minutes, finding one way or another to endanger themselves.

Finally, the group ran into group one, who were also exploring.

"Nick! George!" Y/N ran into their arms. "Ah, this place is so scary! First, Aph almost fell into lava several times, I accidentally provoked a wither skeleton, and then Stacy almost hit a pigmen while we were fighting a ghast!" She cried, explaining the terrifying tale.

"Wow, that sounds really scary! I'm sorry!" Nick smiled. Y/N could be dramatic sometimes.

"It's okay. We're still alive. But I'm sticking with you guys from now on," Y/N decided.

"Same goes for me!" Aphmau said.

"Ditto," Stacy finished.

The larger group silently chatted while they searched for group two. After about half an hour, they finally found them.

Lizzy ran over, blaze rods in a gloved hand.

"Woah, what's with the gloved hand Liz?" Nick asked.

"The blaze rods are really hot. This is the only way to hold them. We got six!" Lizzy said excitedly.

"Six!? That's amazing! I'm sure we have enough!" Y/N gushed.

The group spent the next hour looking for the way back home; and after some hours, they did.

Once they got back, Trayorus had glasses of bubbly water waiting for them. The group was to tired to notice the bubbles and drank the water.

The next morning the group were all found in the main room, wher'est Trayorus was nowhere to be found.

"Why am I in Dans body?!" Stacy cried.

"WHY AM I IN GEORGES BODY?" Y/N wailed.

"Ignore that! WHY AM I IN LIZZYS BODY?" Nick complained.

"Okay, okay, everyone calm down!" Dan said, making the group settle down a bit, although all the girls in boys bodys and vise versa were bobbing up and down awkwardly. (I think we know why 😏) "I know this is confusing but we can figure it out. What was the last thing we did before falling asleep?"

The group thought for a while, recollecting memories, then Lizzy in Aphmaus body spoke up.

"Didn't your assistant put out some water for us? It had a funny taste and was kinda fizzy if I remember correctly," she stated, wobbling back and fourth weirdly, adjusting to the feel of Aphmaus body.

"That's it!" Y/N yelled, making the group look at her, or George's body, hopefully. "Trayorus must've been doing an experiment! We can get him to turn us back!"

"Okay, but we need to figure out who's who. We need name tags!" Stacy said, grabbing their lab passes.

They all put on the lab pass that was theirs. For example, Y/N may be in George's body but she wore her name tag.

It ended up being Stacy in Dans body, Nick in Lizzys body, Dan in Nicks body, Aaron in Stacy's, Bad in Y/N's, Aphmau in Aaron's, Lizzy in Aphmaus, George in Bads, and finally, Y/N in George's.

Once the tags were on, they split up in teams of two.

After hours of searching, they still hadn't found him.

"Ugh! We are NEVER going to find that flipping idiot!" Nick grumbled.

"Language you muffin," Bad stated with a serious look on his face, making the room laugh.

"Well, what are we supposed to do if the potion effects never run off? I don't know about you, but I kinda don't wanna be stuck in Lizzy's body forever," Nick said, looking over at Lizzy in Aphs body before stating, "No, offense."

"None taken. I just want my body back. I'm getting used to this and it's weird," Lizzy replied.

"Yeah, same. When we find Trayorus, I'm going to give him a good punch in the face," Y/N grumbled looking over to Dan in Nicks body. "Do I have that permission?"

"Uh...no. Please don't hit my assistant. We'll have to figure this out tomorrow. Everyone get a good nights sleep, or try too, and we'll look again in the morning," Dan stated. Everyone went to the guest chamber and lay in their beds, hanging their lab passes on the bed frames.

Y/N was the first one up the next morning. She felt different and looked down to see why.

"I'm back in my own body!" She cheered aloud, waking her friends up.

"Huh?" Lizzy asked groggily, looking down to see she wasn't in the same bed she fell asleep in. "I am too!"

"Me too!" Aphmau said elated.

The group cheered for a moment before getting up and packing their things.

"See you guys next week!" Y/N said, walking out. "Oh, and give Tray a good lecture or something for me. Bye!" She said, finally leaving.

"Okay Sushi, we can finally go home, back to Berry. Let's hurry up," Y/N says to her companion. Sushi speeds up and they get back home several hours later. Six to be exact.

Y/N opened the door and was greeted with the usual Berry jumping on her.

After that, Y/N cooked up something to eat and read some books for the rest of the day before making dinner, and going to bed.
