I walked out of the airport with the others - the legs kept asking me to rest, to find somewhere warm and cozy, to simply enjoy the sunshine and stay right there.
I cracked my fingers together, stretching my head back & forth. Every part of my body felt got locked and jammed with the numbness burning over.
The continuous four hours of air flight had surely got me sick!
The muscular ache wanted to pull me towards lethargy - thisfatigue overwhelmedmy body - yet my it didn't gave up. I gulp down loudly with my burning throat, as we stood straight in front of rented- Ferrari F60 America and Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport.
"So how are you we splitting?" He (you know who, Chris) turned to look up at us, with the gentle tapping of his feets filled with anxiety.
I slid down my hands into my pocket, fidgeting slightly over my head."I'm going with him ~" I say instantly giving themselves no time.
"Chris and I had known the roads of Dallas before. So if 'The Ivashkov's' own two of the royal mausoleums here, I'll be going with Bella and Edward." Carlisle eyes shifts at us.
"By the time, I expect Chris & Jacob can keep themselves from killing each other atleast? Huh?" Carlisle gave a slight wry to the eyebrows.
Huh. I nod my head vigorously. But I won't make any promises; my legs now urged to work, do anything. . .but atleast not stand at one place.
I sighed softly, settling in whatever dust is left in my mind and shift the weight of my body to the other leg.
"Well! If we do have to save her life. We must really be careful with our every move because each step costs a life." Edward grasp hungrily for 'his typical styled' pep talk before a battle.
"....each step costs a life."My mind hung at those words, something about it was very bitter & hurtful, but anyway it was the truth about what we were going to put ourselves through? What really she got herself into? It says that we take one wrong step, and all of our life ends.
I shake my head, trying to throw away the thought miles to miles away. . .or leave it back in Forks at sixty feets under the ground.
The hair of my arms rose slightly, and I sighed.
"We're taking the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport. Let's go before something doubles back on us." I saw a crevasse (crack) on the glacier eyes; a look of politeness ran through his face and with a soft step he turned away.
I turned back to the rest of the others, the disgust of my nerves to get rid off him. . .somehow. My teeth gritted clenched together."Why is he necessary here?"
"Uh! We don't know what danger we might face wherever she is? So might be a Crescent Alpha who couldn't be killed comes in a handy, could he?" He (you know who) replied.
I rolled my eyes at him. Thud. He sat back at the car. Totally disgusted! I shake my head looking down at the shade of the sandals I put on. How could someone even stand next to him for even a second!
