[23] Finale

Ever since YuXin and Kun were together officially as a couple, Kun had been treating YuXin with extra affection, sending her and fetching her from school everyday, interlacing their hands in public, hugging her whenever they part in school. It was as if Kun could only see YuXin in his life and nothing else matters. They became one of the most high profile couple in school, capturing the attention of everyone wherever they go.

YuXin sat on the bench with Xue Er, watching Kun and Zhengting practicing diligently during their basketball training. Nudging YuXin, Xue Er smiled slyly, "Your boyfriend is handsome when he's serious at work."

YuXin nodded and replied candidly, "Yeah, but he's handsome all the time." YuXin lowered her voice and whispered, "Sometimes I spy on him and ogle at naked body when he's showering."

Xue Er eyes widened in surprise, "Are you serious??"

YuXin sputtered a laugh and chuckled loudly, "Of course not. You should have looked at your face."

"What are you laughing about?" Kun walked over with Zhengting, smoothing YuXin's hair tenderly with a slight smile as he saw YuXin laughing at Xue Er.

Xue Er rolled her eyes in annoyance at YuXin's joke and replied, "Your girlfriend here said she ogle at your naked -"

YuXin immediately clamped her hand on Xue Er's mouth and hugged her tightly willing for her to keep quiet. "Ah.. I was joking, joking. Forgive me Kong zhuzhu."

Xue Er nodded begrudgingly and YuXin released her hold, turning her attention to Kun, handing a cold bottle of water to him. "Kun Kun, I've got a drink for you. You've worked hard." Kun's lips curved up slightly, his heart felt warm from YuXin's caring action. All the other girls who had been observing Kun started murmuring amongst themselves. 

"Wah.. If only the ice prince would smile at me the same why he does towards her." 

"Who knew he had this soft side in him."

"That YuXin girl looks like a tomboy, is that the style Kun likes?" 

"But she looks kind of like a scrawny boy."

Xue Er couldn't take the comments directing towards YuXin any longer and stood up, glaring at the girls angrily, "You girls have anything to say, say it directly to us and stop muttering amongst yourselves." Sensing Xue Er's anger, YuXin placed her hand on Xue Er's back, rubbing it to soothe her anger, "Xue Er, it's okay. Their words don't bother me." Zhengting was also holding on to Xue Er's hand, trying to placate her but proud of his girlfriend standing up for her friend at the same time.

Kun wrapped his arm around YuXin protectively and gave YuXin a peck on the lips quickly before glaring coldly at the girls, "You got a problem with who I love?"

All the girls looked at Kun with a stunned expression. They didn't expect Kun to kiss YuXin out in the open showing public display of affection and was envious about YuXin getting the attention from Kun. They immediately averted their eyes away from Kun and walked off with a sheepish look.

"Wah Kun, that's such a bold move," Xue Er exclaimed. Meanwhile, YuXin's face was turning beet red from the surprise kiss and she felt her cheeks and ears radiating heat as her heart pulsate rapidly.

The kissing scene kept replaying in YuXin's head even when she was helping Kun out in the kitchen. As she washed the vegetables, she mumbled to herself, "I thought the kiss would be different.." YuXin thought her first kiss would be something more slow and romantic between the two of them but it turned out to be a public act having so many people witnessing it.

Kun wrapped his arms around YuXin's waist and rest his chin on her shoulder, "So what's the kind of kiss did you imagined?"

YuXin jumped up in startle and mumbled softly, "How come you can hear me talking to myself all the time.."
