I was exhausted. My feet were killing me, after Cameron and the band had finished. We had decided to stay till the pub closed which was past one in the morning. Me and Amy had danced all night, though she was completely drunk, and I had only had a few shots of sours which she insisted I would like because they were fruity. She wasn't wrong, at first I wasn't use to the kick and burn when swallowing the liquor but after drinking a couple more and sharing a cocktail bowl I was actually having a really good time. Cameron dropped me off which lead to nearly an hour of us making out in his car when he finally pulled away when I was standing at my front door.

I watch his car light disappear towards the end of the road now turning the corner. Getting my keys out from my pocket I open the door at the same time I feel a drop of rain land on me. The house quiet, knowing mum and Robbie would be asleep by how early it was in the morning. Staggering into the hallway the house a lot warmer than it was outside, the snow partly melted away.

Grabbing a glass of water from the kitchen, the cool liquid running down my throat as I lean against the counter the alcohol making my whole body a lot heavier than I am use to. The lights flicker on from outside at the back of the house, my eyes instantly looking out of the window. Tree branches move slowly as they cling to the shadows of the forest, a light tapping sound makes my whole body go stiff. I cant help but squint my eyes as I think I see something move but couldn't be sure on what it was. I jump back and nearly fall over when William appears outside now in my direct line of vision.

"Dick head."

Placing my hand on my racing chest. His eyes looking at me and then back to the forest, his eyebrows slightly narrowing as he vanishes again but within seconds reappears next to me in the kitchen.

"What are you still doing up?"

He takes in the clothes that I am still wearing and had left in yesterday, my body shivering slightly from the attention he was giving me.

"I just got in, fuck stop doing that. You nearly gave me a heart attack."

I swear he is smiling just at the thought of that happening to me. Why do I waste my time by entertaining him. Rinsing the glass, I leave it on the side for me to wash up tomorrow whilst a yawn escapes my mouth.

"Where have you been?"

I ask him as I turn around and walk towards the direction of the stairs. Taking each step slowly still being intoxicated making me lose my footing slightly, my body going backwards till I am pressed against a hard chest. Williams hands grip the sides of my waist steadying me, his head looking down the same time I look up at him. His eyes a lot darker than usual, if he hadn't been such an asshole to me at the start than I would be more incline to like him though I couldn't help but take in his features more. He was really good looking.

"Did you have a good time?"

He whispers into my ear, his lips grazing against my skin. His voice quieter probably making sure that we don't wake mum and Robbie up.

"Why do you always avoid my questions? It's annoying as hell."
