"You don't find love, it finds you. It's got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and what's written in the stars."- Anais Nin.

"The property's all sorted for you." Hamza leaned back in his seat across the desk from me.

"Thanks, bro." I glanced at the file he had slid across towards me. "It's perfect." It was impressive how quickly Hamza had managed this. He'd sorted everything out in a week. If friends like Aqsa can be a curse, friends like Hamza can be true blessings.

"Wives." He shook his head. "The things we do for their love." He chuckled. "Hania loves Edinburgh, so I bought her an apartment right in the city centre, and the first thing she said to me was, 'Why are you spoiling me so much, Hamza?'."

I smiled. "Hania Bhabi's really sweet."

"That reminds me." He leaned forward. "She and her mother cooked some Pakistani dishes and will take them over to your place later to help Gul Aunty and your sisters out. Is Anaya Bhabi going to be home?"

"Yes, she is. But Bhabi and Aunty didn't have to." I was touched by their kindness.

"Dude, stop being so formal. You'd do the same for us." He said.

There was a knock on the door and my secretary peeked in. "Sir, Shehbaz Babar is here. The new Head of IT?"

I nodded. "Send him in."

The secretary left and Hamza stood up, reaching across the desk to shake my hand. "I better go and do some work myself."

"Thanks, Hamza. You've really come through." I shook his hand and he left, just as a nervous looking young guy walked in, pushing his glasses onto the bridge of his nose.

"Shehbaz Babar?" I asked.

He nodded. "Mr Jamshed?"

"Please, it's best if you call me Faiz." I reached out to shake his hand. When he took my hand, I realised how cold it was. Poor guy must be really suffering from nerves. "It's nice to meet you. Have a seat."

Just as he was about to sit down, he dropped the file he was holding, causing paperwork to slip out onto the floor. "S-Sorry." He bent down to pick up the paperwork.

"Look," I came around to help him. "You already have this job, so relax."

He looked up at me as he stood up. "Thanks Faiz Bhai..." He winced. "I mean, Mr Faiz. Sorry, I'm just used to addressing people as Bhai out of respect and...I'll shut up now."

"Don't worry." I gestured towards the nearest chair. "Please."

Once we were both finally seated, I glanced at the file he'd given me. "I'm going to get one of the senior IT staff to show you the ropes. We required a new IT Head because of security concerns regarding customer information. There was a chance of personal details of our guests being leaked, and I need someone strong to take over and prevent that from happening. You think you can handle it?"

He waved his hand, dismissively. "Oh, don't worry. That'll be a piece of cake."

"Good." I nodded.

We spoke for a while, and I got the senior member of our IT department to show him around. After he left, I sat back in my seat and started working, when my intercom rang and I answered it. "Yes?"
