so i'm just going to explain all my different font thingys and then i'll get into the actual background of the story.

a/n: this means author's note. you'll see this at the top of the chapter if i have something to say

bold is either me changing the pov or me at the end of each chapter

backstory:
you're the eldest daughter of the beifong family and older sister to toph. toph is blind so when she was born your parents put you into training so you'll be there to protect her. toph turned out to be a bender unlike you, but you're parents felt like she still needed you as her "guard". as she grew up, you two became best friends and less of a protector because toph was well tough. you're more of mysterious kind of person that keeps to theirselves. toph knows all your secrets and you know all hers. since you didn't need to protect her you continued your training more for yourself. even if toph didn't need it you were there anytime she needed it.
