Evan's P.O.V.

Today is the day that I become a high school diploma graduate. I honestly can't even tell you how nervously excited I am. My parents are going to meet me at the ceremony so I don't have to worry about picking them up. I got all ready and dressed up and then headed out the door. I was going to put my cap on when I get there. The ceremony was being held out on the field. Weird but I guess that's how they fit so many people every year.

Mila was going to be driving with her parents as well. I think she will be driving them, I honestly don't know if that changed since the last time we talked which was an hour ago.

As for Scar and Jess, they will be coming together and then their parents will come by themselves and find there own seats next to each other. It will also be the first time they meet each other. And I gotta say Jesse is sort of freaking out about that. But he is playing it cool.

Anyways, I headed for the school. It was like the memories of me coming the first day which was like midway through high school.

I think what I am most nervous for is saying my speech. Both of them actually. Because I don't deserve it. But there is no turning back now.

Once I reached, I could see Mila getting out of her new car and others gathering around to admire it. Seeing that happen for her was kind of....unusual. Normally people don't idolize at her. She is more of a stay in the back kind of girl. But this was something I never seen before. Well, I better get used to it. Soon she is going to be one of the best dancers in the world and touring with different stars every night.

It's going to be hard trying to keep up with her, but someone as amazing as her, it's all worth it.

I then went over to greet her. She smiled as we meet our lips in synced and moved in unison. I pulled away because we were surrounded by a bunch of people who don't want to watch us make out for a couple of minutes.

We then all headed for the school after she parked her car. That's also going to be hard to get over. I love driving her where she needs to go. I am like her personally body guard who occasionally kisses her and gives her cuddles.

Getting ready to start the ceremony, Principal Harold Webber and Vice Principal Marilyn Monte stood at the podium looking over parents and family members, along with friends.

The ceremony began with melancholy song that every graduation ceremony begins with. It kind of gets old and boring quick. But I think it's that for a reason because it gets you when you least expect it.

We began doing what we practiced and then soon enough we ended up in our rightful seats. The principal then said we could all have a seat. We sat in unison. It was sort of creepy. It was like we were hypnotized by something.

Principal Webber spoke a few words on this years graduating class and how he was so proud of every single student that had accomplished there goal. To graduate high school. It was a touching speech and then he introduced me, as the Valedictorian. I think a lot of people were surprise. They didn't expect that from the Mayor's kid. I got up as my peers gave me a credible applause.

"Good Morning everyone. I would like to say thank you to all the faculties, advisors and teachers who supported us and helped us through our four years attending Hugh M. Cumming High School. I would like to start off by saying..... I'm sorry. I understand that... as the student with highest GPA, I automatically make myself this year's Valedictorian but.... I can't accept it. You see, the person that does deserve this award is Kimberly Moralez. She has worked her butt off to get the best grades and worked as harder and more equipped than anyone. So, on my behalf, this award also goes out to her." I started. She looked quite speechless to say the least. She mouthed a thank you as I nodded.
