Mila's P.O.V.

Yesterday, Evan had dinner with my parents. At this point we had already past the meeting stages so, it wasn't too much pressure for us. However, we got approval for Evan to stay over my house so we could hang out and have a day to help him forget what has been happening in his life.

Today, is New Years Eve. It is the last day of the whole year. I honestly couldn't believe that the year would end with me having a boyfriend. That's really crazy to me. Oh my gosh, I get to do the New Year's kiss.

I can't wait.

I told my parents about the party and mentioned that there would be adults their. I also said that it was Evan's friends, Jesse's parents that were holding it. They told me it was okay to go. I would've asked if they wanted to come too but they had plans and the expression on there face meant that it was something that Chris and I don't need to be in the house for.

I was wearing a Silhouette A-line that a satin fabric and embellishments pleats. The neckline was jeweled with a little chain string dropping down and the hem of the dress was short length, but it fit perfectly on my body. The back was backless up until the waistline. I added my beige thick heels with criss cross straps up to the ankles. I did my hair up. I had two strands of each hair, one on each side, to be on either side of my face. To finalize the outfit I wore a rolled up sleeves off white blazer.

I did a natural look for makeup but that was final. I was finally done. And I was happy with the look.

The door bell rang. I grabbed my contrast color flap chain crossbody bag and my phone. Scarlett was going to drive herself. She didn't want me to be conflicted with deciding on who was going to pick me up. I mean I could drive myself but Scarlie always insisted.

I walked to the front door, opening it to see Evan was in a dark blue suit. His button down shirt was white and his pants matched his jacket. His hair as always was like how it is. Long and a little bit curly.

"Babe, you look amazing." He said. I smiled. "So do you." I retorted. He then leaned in and gave me a peck.

He pulled away a little and spoke, "Ready to go." He asked.

"Yea, just give me one second." I said as I gave a farewell to my parents and Chris. They all said have a good time as I replied, "I will". He led us to his car and opened the door for me. I thanked him and he did the same for himself. We then drove to his friends house.

On the drive to the New Year's Party, Evan reached out for my hand as he intertwined our hands. He then kissed the back of my hands as he continued to focus on the road.

Suddenly, the song If the World Was Ending by Julia Michaels and JP Saxe. It was one of my favorite songs ever made. I hummed along to the song as Julia and JP sang in harmony. I then joined in as well, singing along. It's kind of like this instant habit that happens when you hear a really good song.

"You sing as well?" Evan asked shocked.

I giggled. "Sometimes. But not professionally." I said.

"Are there any other talents that you have that I should be aware of?" He asked.

"That's for me to know and you to find out." I told him teasingly.

"Touché, babe." He said. I laughed as he continued on the drive.

A few moments later........

We finally reached and Evan just parked the car. He then got out and helped me out. He closed the door behind me before shutting off the engine to the car. We walked up to the door and knocked. Seconds later we were greeted by Jesse.
