Epilogue.

Evan's P.O.V.

6 years later..........

It's been almost 7 years since Mila and I have been together. And I can't believe how time went by so fast. It's the year of 2026 and I had graduated college about a couple of years ago along with Mila and Scar. Mila graduated with dance honors. Scar graduated with being top three in her class for Law and I graduated with being Valedictorian once again. And like last time, I did not gracefully declare that I was the best. I rewarded everyone with same satisfaction that most kids would dream of.

My parents have actually grown a lot over the years. My father is back in my life and he is not wasting any time on his old selfish ways. Jess graduated the academy and was a candidate at New York. He basically does a lot of cleaning here and there. But last I heard, he said he had some big news he couldn't wait to tell all of us.

What we are all doing now?

After graduating with dance honors, she got job offers from all over. She went to Seattle and was given a job as a dancer for a Broadway show. I finished my medical school in two years. I wanted to take as many classes as possible. Everyone told me that, doing that would be insane but I called it being driven. Now I am in Veterans Administration Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. That is where I choose to do my internship and then I would hopefully go to another hospital to do my residency. Hopefully Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Mila, of course did some back up dancing for a couple of celebrities. She then started to get big around L.A. and soon enough was getting herself a manager.

I honestly couldn't be more proud of her. The doctors in L.A. were pretty friendly to say the least. As long as you don't step on anyone's toes, your good. And it's been really fun learning from these people.

After six years later, Scar is working for the Manhattan District Attorney. She worked at a court clerkmanship for about ten months and then passed the bar. She then was assigned to the Brooklyn's office but then worked her way up and now work's in the Manhattan's office. As for Jess, he was able to move on from candidate after a couple of months. He is now a firefighter in New York. And a pretty good one I heard. As for the two of them together, they have been absolutely stronger than ever.

I thought maybe the firefighter thing would drift them apart but it only made them strong willed to stay together. It is right now September 24th and I am turning 26. It is also the first time that my family from my parents and vice versa for Mila would be meeting for the first time. Everyone knows the plan so no one will be surprised. Except for Mila. She is the only one that doesn't know.

With almost seven years of being together she was going to be my fiancée, hopefully in the next couple of hours.

We were also currently in the backyard of the house that my mom had bought. Well, the new house she bought. She saved up for awhile and then bought it. It's a medium size, so it wasn't too big. But the insides were so huge. It had multiple rooms and what seemed like countless bathrooms. She also bought two dogs from the last time I saw her. Sunny and Minnie. Sunny was a border collie and Minnie was a bulldog.

The music played in the background as everyone just had a good time. Not to mention, both our families were getting along just fine.

The kids were playing with Minnie while Sunny was in my mom's lap. She wasn't much of a socializer. She just liked to be pet once in awhile and shown a little love. Minnie was the total opposite. She was a playful bull dog who loved more than anything to be around everyone and getting them to play with her. I think that's why she was the kids favorite.

Some of my cousins who I haven't seen in awhile came to celebrate my birthday but also special occasion. Including Mila's cousins. She was talking to one of them about her journey so far as a dancer. Everyone is just so proud of her. Me, most of all was the most proud I have ever been.
