Evan's P.O.V.

At Prom everything went great. Mila and I are no longer on a break. The Mafia are being sent away for good and I still haven't gotten over my cloud nine feeling.

Mila's birthday is coming soon. I am kinda stuck on what to give her. I mean, I could give her the most expansive thing I could buy but then again she isn't a materialistic person. Plus, she wouldn't dare to bring it along with her.

I then got it. I was going to buy her a bracelet. But I was also going to get her, her favorite drink from Starbucks. There has been a couple of times I went to get Starbucks and happened to get her order too. A caramel Frappuccino with extra caramel and extra whip cream. Along with her other order from Starbucks. A bacon, sausage and egg wrap with Shortbread cookies.

And basically throughout the whole day try to get her whatever she wanted.

Right now I am at the courthouse and I am waiting for what the jury has to say. I had given them my testimony already so, now it was just time to hear the results. Knowing what was said during the court room, I knew they were definitely getting the maximum sentence. It was just obvious.

When the jury came back, they announced the results. They found the leader of the Mafia and the rest of his crew guilty. The leader of the Mafia was getting the death penalty and the rest were getting a life sentence. Meaning they wouldn't be able to come out until they were 95. Some of them wouldn't be out until they were 88.

It never really affected me as much but I was happy that they wouldn't see the light of day again. I then left and drove to Mila's. I told her I would come over after I was finished with the testimony.

When I reached her house, I knocked on her door. Seconds later, Mila was at the door looking as beautiful as ever.

"Hey beautiful." I then leaned in to kiss her. I pulled away and she walked to the living room as I closed the door behind me.

I followed her to the couch. "I want to ask you something?"

"Okay, shoot." I said.

"Do you think I will be an amazing dancer?" She asked.

I chuckled. "Babe, what kind of insane question is that? Since the moment I met you, I mean I thought you were different. But then when you danced it was like nothing I've ever seen. You are an absolute amazing dancer and anyone who has eyes could witness that in a heartbeat."

She smiled. "I...I don't know. I am just scared. I sent out my applications for schools in North Carolina and also California. I thought maybe UCLA would be one choice and UC Berkeley. And for North Carolina I would do Duke University and University of North Carolina School of the Arts. So, what do you think? Any of them you would even consider?"

"Babe, I need you to listen to me." I said.

She nodded. "Stop stressing. Everything will work out. With your grades and the fact that you danced in a group that was really at the time...you know and still dance on the side when you want, not to mention you kept your grade up while holding a part time job for three years, should show the boards that you are beyond driven and determine to reach your goals. You are not just any ordinary girl, you are....your marvelous, babe. Okay, I love you, now stop stressing." I said. I then caressed her face. She gave me her famous smile.

"What about you? Did you send in your applications?" She asked.

"Yes, I did. I was able to send them out just in time. Now, all I will have to do is just wait." I had to send them to my mom's address because I didn't officially report that I had moved. It wouldn't make sense.
