Mal went to the tourney field to watch the game that was about to be played. She found herself a seat in the bleachers as almost all of the cheerleaders came running out waving their pompoms like crazy and doing all kinds of flips and tricks. And then the teams came out. And she was quick to spot number 17. Henry. She was b basically just watching him for the whole game.

She saw him start showing off whenever he scored a goal. And she just rolled her eyes. Typical for a guy like him. She could hardly wait to talk to him and show him just how big of a mistake he made back with Evie.

And as soon as the game was over and the Auradon Knights had won once again, Mal stomped down the bleachers. She succeeded in getting the attention of every student that she passed as they gave her strange looks, wondering why she was stomping down towards the field

Mal spotted Henry celebrating with his teammates, chest bumping them, and giving out bro hugs. And Mal grabbed a fist ful of his shirt as she turned him around to face her.

"Whoa! What do you think you're..who are you?" Henry asked on confusion as to who was standing in front of him.

"I'm Mal. New student, and Evie's new roommate." Mal told him. "And I was informed, that you hurt her. And Evie doesn't deserve that."

"I didn't break up with her!" He rose his voice. "We're just taking a break, that's all!"

"Yeah? Well still, Evie skipped school today so she could cry her eyes out in the dorm, because of you!" Mal yelled practically in his face. "And do you see her here? With the cheerleaders? No, you don't, do you? Well, that's also because of you. She doesn't want to see you!"

Henry's eyes broke eye contact with Mal's as he looked down at the ground. "Look, I didn't want to do that." He said.

"Then why did you?" Mal asked him.

"Because, we've been arguing for awhile, and I was starting to get tired of it." He replied. "So I thought maybe it would be a good idea to take a little break from each other to see how it feels."

"Well, you've made her feel horrible!" Mal yelled again.

"Listen, I don't even know you!" Henry started yelling too as his teammates started listening to the two of them. "So I would appreciate it if you would leave now!"

Mal was starting to get mad. Real mad. So she, out of nowhere, swung her fist at his jaw, and punched him. And she ended up knocking him to the ground. Henry clutched his jaw as he sent Mal a death glare.

"You're gonna regret that." He said getting up before he tackled Mal to the ground.

"Well, so far I'm not!" Mal yelled from under him as they began punching each other all over the place.

They soon got the attention of pretty much everyone there, and Henry's teammates pulled him off of Mal.

"Dude, you need to chill." Jay told him.

Henry held his hands up as he broke free from Jay's grip on him. "I am chill." He said.

Mal then went back to hers and Evie's dorm, but not before she sent one last glare to Henry, who quickly sent her one back as she walked away. And once she had gotten back, she saw Evie just sitting on her bed against the pillows.

Evie's eyes widened when she saw a bruise on the aide of Mal's face right next to her eye. "Mal! What on earth happened?!" She asked rushing over to Mal to examine her bruise.

"I had a talk with Henry..." She started.

"Henry did this to you?!" Evie asked in shock. "I can't believe he would do this. What exactly did you say to him?"

"I just told him that he made a mistake by hurting you. We began yelling at each other, I got mad and without even thinking I punched him, and then he got me back." Mal explained.

Evie was speechless. "You said you were just gonna talk to him. Not beat him up!"

"Look, I didn't mean to! It just happened! Besides I thought you hated him!" Mal said.

"I never said I hate him!" Evie yelled. "I'm not exactly happy with him, but I could never hate him! And I can't believe you would hit him."

"Well, I'm sorry for just trying to help you!" Mal began yelling too.

"I never asked you to help in the first place!" Evie said.

Mal shook her head. This is why she never had any friends. Because they always ended like this. She never got along with anybody. "You know? I actually thought we were gonna be really good friends. But no, I can never have any friends. So why did I let myself get fooled this time. You're just like everybody else!" Mal yelled before storming out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Evie flinched as she heard the door slam. She thought about going after Mal and stopping her, but she was quick to push those thoughts out of her mind. Mal didn't want to see her, she knew that for sure. So why make things even worse then they were in that moment. She went back over to her bed and screamed into her pillow.

Mal didn't exactly know where she was headed, just away from Evie and everybody else. But of course, she had to be stopped by one of Donovan's men.

"Well, well, look who I found." She heard Donovan's voice from behind her.

"I still have four days." Mal said.

"I know you do. I just came to check on your progress." He said.

"I don't feel like talking!" Mal said harshly.

"Ooh, trouble with friends?"

"How did you know?" She asked him as she then turned around.

"What else could it be?" He asked in return. "Mal, stop wasting your time on people, and stick to the plan! Because time is running out. You have only four days left. Use them wisely and bring me the businessperson. Now is that so hard?!

Mal knew becoming friends with Evie was a bad idea. " I have four days. I will find them. That is a promise. And I don't break my promises."

"Good. Now don't make any mistakes. And most certainly stay away from any and all distractions. That goes for the cheerleader princess, get rid of her."

"You want me to kill her?" Mal asked.

"No. Just don't let her distract her." He told her. "Now go. I don't want to see you again, until you have what I want."

Mal went back into the school and back to her dorm where Evie still was. And when Evie saw Mal come back she quickly stood up.

"Mal! I'm so sorry-" Evie was interrupted with a slap to her cheek.

"I don't want to hear it. Becoming friends with you was a mistake. So stay away from me." Mal said.

Evie could feel her heart break from those words as she held her cheek which still stung, but wasn't as bad as the pain coming from inside of her. She fell back onto her bed and sobbed into her pillow.
