Evie Queen was cheering on the Auradon Knights as they played the Sherwood Falcons. It was tied, 2 to 2. And the Knights were so close to victory. She was cheering on her boyfriend, Henry, with Audrey cheering on her boyfriend, Jay, right beside her.

The clock was ticking, and the Knights were getting so close to the goal. Evie and Audrey held onto each other. 5 seconds. Henry passed the ball to Jay.

3 seconds. Jay passed it back to Henry as Falcons players came after him.

2 seconds. Henry threw the ball at the goal.

It was as if time just stopped  and everything was in slow motion as the ball flew across the field and right into the goal just as the horn blew signalling the end of the game. And the Auradon Knights had won the game. The crowd went wild, jumping up and down and screaming.

"We did it! We won!" Henry screamed running up to his girlfriend and kissing her in celebration.

"I'm so proud of you, babe! You guys did so good out there!" Evie told him in her excitement.

"Oh yeah, we killed it!" He yelled. "How about lets all go and get some pizza, on me."

"Now, that sounds awesome!" Jay said.

"Hey! don't I get to come?" Carlos asked. "I used to be on the team. And I thought we were friends."

"We are, man. So of course you get to come!"  Jay told him.

Carlos pumped his fist in the air as Jay and Henry went to go get changed, before they all went to their favorite pizza place.

It had been about a week since Mal had been expelled, and her mom had told her she was going to Auradon Prep. The school had just gotten back to them, and told them Mal had been accepted in. But she was expected to be there within the next three days.

"Mal, pack your things. You're leaving in the morning." Her mom told her.

Mal sent her a glare as she stormed off to her room to get all of her stuff together. Of course her mother wanted her gone as soon as possible. She was shoving all of her clothes into her suitcase, and putting the most important things to her, in her bag. As much as she hated the thought of going to Auradon Prep, but as long as it was far away from her mother, she was going to go.

As soon as she finished with the packing which wasn't until late, her mom came into her room holding something in her hands.

"This is a bus ticket that will be taking you to Auradon Prep. It leaves at ten o' clock tomorrow." Her mom said.

Mal just took the ticket away from her and put it on her dresser. "Just go, mom." She said.

"Don't you want to come down for dinner?" She asked.

"I'm not hungry. And even if I was, I wouldn't want to eat with you." Mal said in an angry tone.

"Well fine, then. You can stay up here for the rest of the night." Her mom said before leaving the room.

Mal fell back on her bed. She was done with dealing with her mom. And before she knew it, she fell asleep. Not even caring what time it was.

When Mal's alarm went off the next morning, she was quick to turn it off, and go about her morning routine once again. She wasn't really hungry, so she just grabbed her a granola bar before she walked with her suitcase to the bus station. Her mother had already left, so she didn't see her again.
