Draco was a few steps behind Harry after coming out of his daze, so he heard what Madame Pomfrey said as soon as he opened the door.

"Hello Harry, were you crying?"

After spotting Draco, she began to scold him.

"Mr. Malfoy! What did you do to Mr. Potter?!"

"I bought him flowers?", he answered, very confused.

"Oh."

He could see a light blush forming on her cheeks and that was good enough for him.

"My apologies."

"It's alright. I can't fault you for assuming."

Draco could tell by her face she was very surprised with his behavior.

"I'm going to clean up from breakfast. If you need me I'll be in the kitchen."

"Thanks Dray."

"Madame Pomfrey, I made cinnamon rolls yesterday morning if you would like one before you leave."

"Oh. Thank you dear."

He nodded and headed to the kitchen. Madame Pomfrey smiled at Draco. She actually smiled at him.

Having people both like and respect him made Draco feel giddy. Normally he was respected because he was feared. Lucious Malfoy was wrong on so many accounts. Draco always wanted to be liked and he had to say he enjoyed it.

Don't get him wrong, Draco wasn't doing these things to be liked. He was doing it because he didn't want to hate the man staring back at himself in the mirror anymore. For so many years he caused harm and tore people down. Not anymore. He would only be bringing people up from now on.

Most of his teasing was reserved for Harry. It was their thing after all.

Draco decided the kitchen could use a deep cleaning. Harry had a list of almost every room name. Searching through his papers, Draco placed them in alphabetical order. Thinking about how Harry would most certainly not rearrange them that way, Draco added numbers to the top right corners to make it easier for him.

Grabbing a stool, Draco set to work. He made a list of things he thought they needed. He took inventory of the cabinets and the drawers. Sorted through the fridge and freezer and organized things so there was a lot more room. All of the labels were facing outwards now.

Draco toyed with the notion of rearranging the furniture to make the room flow better, but he didn't want to do that without asking Harry first. Mentally rearranging the room, he grabbed another sheet of paper and drew a quick sketch he thought could be implemented.

He was halfway through wiping down the stove with he heard Harry getting louder.

"I'm fine!"

Turning to see Draco had entered the room he immediately dragged him into the conversation.

"Draco tell Poppy I'm fine!"

"I'm not answering until I know what the conversation is about."

"He's stubborn."

"Tell me about it."

"Dray! You're supposed to be on my side.", Harry pouted.

"I'm on whatever side has you healthy you prat. What's the issue?"

"I merely suggested he take something to help him sleep better."

"And I said that I'm fine. I don't want to take anything that will get me addicted."
