Chapter 1

I was born to destroy.

There's no if about it I was made to be a weapon in the chess game between humans and vampires. I knew I wasn't meant to be on the vampires side but I was. I knew that no one ever thought when they we're making me about how I would feel about this whole situation.

I knew I was the only human that could possibly kill a vampire but I also knew I wasn't suppose to have feelings. I was a weapon and toy to them after all I wasn't suppose to feel anything. I was suppose to simply follow commands with no question about it but I had my own mind too.

" Get the hell up! "

Cody yelled at me kicking me

" I've been fighting all fucking day! "

I yelled back but still trying to catch my breath. He had been making me practice fighting all day. Stupid vampires they clearly don't know humans get wore out easily.

" Well your going to fight all day tomorrow too if you don't fucking listen! "

" This may come as a shock to you but humans need sleep and water and food! And damn it I haven't gotten any of the above! "

" Do you think I pity you? "

He asked laughing

" No I don't considering how fucking bruised I am and wore out! "

" I have no idea how your suppose to be of use to us your nothing but a stupid useless human "

" Great to know now can I go eat before I turn into a skeleton? "

He rolled his eyes

" Fine go but you better be here tomorrow afternoon at 2 to practice again "

" Yes sir "

I said getting up off the mat. I walked into the cafeteria and gut my food. A hamburger and French fries with water. I had my own line since I was the only human here.

The vampires reminded me of wolfs they were always in groups and protected each other like family. They had tons of cafeterias just so they would have a big enough place to eat together.

I on the other hand was protected in a different way. They didn't look at me as family they protects me because I was a threat. If the humans had me the vampires would be in danger. They protected me for their own protection not for mine.

I sat alone at my usual spot and read my book. I loved books it was my only way to get away from this life. I looked up from my book at the table across from me. The " cool kid " table.

They were cool because they were amazingly gorgeous and had amazing battle skills. I always wished to be apart of their group to be that close to everyone and be looked at like a god but I was human so I would never be a part of them.

I would always be the outcast everyone knew that even me.
