Three weeks. It had been three weeks since Sirius and Astara had last spoken. They had never gone this long without talking. Astara's hair was constantly some shade of blue and Sirius wasn't his normal self. He didn't joke around, want to play any pranks, or flirt with any girls. Even though he hadn't done that latter for almost a year or two.
Remus, James and Peter had to deal with Sirius whining about how Astara was avoiding him. It was getting to the point that Remus was throwing his books at him anytime him said something about her but didn't do anything to fix it. They kept telling him to go and apologize to her but every time they did, he made some kind of excuse like homework (which he didn't do anyway) or she was too busy.
Which she was but that didn't mean he couldn't say sorry. Astara on the other hand was just as miserable. And her roommates were suffering because of it. She was bunked with Lily, Marlene, and Alice which was nice having all her friends living with her but it was getting to the point where she wouldn't even leave her room. So her friends decided to take matters into their own hands.
Sirius and the rest of the Marauders were walking down the hall when someone grabbed him by the collar of his uniform. He looked down to see and scowling Marlene and a silent but furious Lily behind her.
"Alight Black! It's time! You have to go apologize to her!" Marlene said angrily while Sirius looked scared shitless. He looked at her to Lily, silently begging for help. The red head simply shrugged and said, "Don't look at me. I agree with her. She's miserable, Sirius! She won't come out of our room except for class. She's barely eaten anything that we haven't brought back for her. You have to fix this."
He nodded quickly, despite his fears of Astara not forgiving him, and Marlene let him go. She pointed in the direction of the Gryffindor common room and said simply, "Go."
So he ran.

Knock knock knock
Astara groaned at begrudgingly got out of bed at the sound of the door being knocked on. Her hair was big in baby blue curls and had been that way for the past week or two, having faded from a much darker color. She was wearing a long sliver nightgown, the same one she had been wearing for the past three days, and white fluffy slippers.
She walked over to the door and opened. Standing there in all his glory was Sirius fucking Black. He had a rare nervous smile as he looked at her innocently. Before he could say anything, Astara shut the door in his face and went back to her bed.
Sirius stood there for a minute, contemplating what he was supposed to do now. That's when he got an idea.
There was another knock on her door making Astara whine as she had just got comfortable. She opened the door again once again, ready to glare the hell out of the person, when she saw a big, black, shaggy dog sitting patiently and looking up at her. Padfoot. She chuckled quietly, a small smile painted her lips as Padfoot whined and rubbed his face against her bare leg.
When she stepped aside a little, he pads into her room and trots over to her bed before sitting down.
"What are you doing here, Sirius? Here to yell at me again?" Astara asked as she sat down across Sirius. He turned back, his head hung sadly as he sighed. His legs were hung over the side of her bed as he faced her.
"Look," He begun as he looked back up at her, "I'm sorry. I was so scared of losing you that I ended up pushing you away and I hate that. I-I got scared that you were going to leave me and your one of my best friends and I couldn't imagine my life without you and-and.." Sirius had tears rolling down his cheeks as he tried to continue. Astaras eyes sadden as she stood up from seat and walk over to him.
His legs were already parted slightly so she moved to stand between them. She placed to fingers under his chin and moved his head so she could look into the stormy grey eyes she adored so much. They were now filled with tears as he feared what Astara would say next.
She pulled him close, enclosing him in a tight hug. He tensed up at first before relaxing, letting his temple rest on her collarbone, his arms wrapped around her waist as he was still sitting down. One of her hands played with the ends of his black hair while the other rubbed circles into his back as she started to talk, "Oh, honey, you aren't going to lose me. Not now, not ever. Ok?"
He only nodded and pulled her closer, nuzzling his head into her more, smelling her. Chamomile, lemon and lavender. His favorite.
They stood there in silence for a few minutes, not talking but just enjoying each other's presence."You're stuck with me, Siri." She whispered to him as if that was a bad thing.
"Good." He whispered back. That's exactly what he wanted. Her.
