It was finally the last day of school for the Marauders. Astara had graduated a year before them so she had been sent out in the world alone. But when she got a letter from James, she jumped at the chance to see her friends.
After getting clearance from everyone's favorite teacher, Professor McGonagall, the Marauders had planned to have a bonfire out in the woods for their last night. And of course they couldn't have a party without Astara White.
James, Lily, Peter, Remus, Sirius and Astara were out in the woods, far enough where no one could hear them but close where they could still see the castle. The boys set up the fire well the girls talking about plans for after school, in Astara's case what she had been doing after school. The stars where out and the only thing lighting the area was the roaring fire.
Once they had set it up, James jumped up on one of the stumps that they were using for seats.
He cleared his throat and began his speech. "I would first like to thank our special guest, Ms. Astara White, for being able to make it. We celebrated her departure last year so now she must suck it up and celebrate ours." They all clapped and cheered for her making her cheeks flush as she waved them off.
He continued as he addressed the boys, "What can I say, you are there for me. Never on time, usually looking like a pile of shite," They all let out a small chuckle, "But never the less you're there or there about." James raised his bottle and shouted, "To the Marauders!"
"To the Marauders!"
After that they put on some music from a portable muggle radio that Lily brought with her. Everyone sang loudly and obnoxiously on purpose along with the songs that played. Astara danced with James, Remus, and once Peter before the song changed and she began to dance with Sirius. The beautiful piano playing of Edith Whiskers came on as the song called 'Home' started.
As Sirius and Astara danced and swayed, she sang the higher bits while he sang the lower ones. Both of them somehow blocking out their friends loud, and terrible, singing along with the world. (Astara: left, Sirius: right, together)

Astara smiled up at him as their fingers intertwined together.

Sirius twirled her around as he sang, making her laugh loudly as he smiled. He admired the cheerful look in her eye, the same look he hadn't seen since she left.

James and Lily danced behind them, the Gryffindor boy dipping her, making her laugh loudly. While...that was happening, Astara's hair turned from long white hair that was put up into two braids to beautiful long hot pink along with her eyes.
Well, hot and heavy pumpkin pie
Chocolate candy, Jesus Christ

Her arms found their way around his neck, his wrapping around her waist as she rested her head on his collar bone. Their voices grew softer as they sang the next part together.

The rest of the group watched the two of them with soft, knowing stares. Astara and Sirius where completely oblivious.
Even if they didn't know, everyone knew
