Pure Blooded (rewritten)

Chapter 13

I feel my body get thrown on the ground on my knees and someone lifts the bag from my head. I frown as light hit my eyes. I look on the ground. It was a expensive carpet. I look to my left and right. I'm in a huge place convert with expensive material.

"I got her" I hear a familiar voice behind me. I than hear heel clicking. Scarlet walks in front of me. I look up to see a very tall man with a covered coat around him and a hood over his head. He uncovers it revealing his face. Seth. "Good Job scar"

"You bastard!"I scream and I breathe heavily.

He laughs loudly. "You know what's funny?" He pauses and continues. "Your father said that to me before I killed him" I growl angry at him. I want to kill him! I move my hands but they were tied with rope behind my back.

"So you admit that you killed him?" I growl. "How can you kill your own brother!?"

"He was my brother until he threw me out," He says. I start to have flashbacks when William told me my father locked him away. "You know-" he pauses and takes a breath. "- I was going to be crowned king first," He says and shifts his legs, now his other leg crossed over. He continues, " Not until Your mother chose to marry him instead. I thought I lost her only but no, I lost everything!"

I flinch as his voice becomes louder. " I lost love, I lost friends, I lost family-" he takes a deep breath and continues. " - and I lost the throne"

"What do you mean you lost everything? My father wouldn't do that to you" I ask.

" oh..you don't know anything" he shakes his head. I frown not understanding. He continues, " Your father gained everything I had and my family starts to leave me out. The gods also decided to give the power of what a legendary warrior has to him. I was basically abandoned"

"What? Abandoned you?" I start to feel pity for him. I don't know anything about my father. It's not my place to judge but... "However-" I pause. He looks at me and I continue. "- I will say I don't know my father well but I spent most of the time with my mother. I don't think she will marry someone who will do such horrible things"

"He-" Seth was about to say something but I cut him off. " But maybe.. just maybe, he didn't do it on purpose. I wouldn't think my father will do such things but I am sorry that you lost what you had. It must have been painful" I say honestly with all my heart. Losing something you always had is painful.

"Didn't do it on purpose?" Scarlet scoffs. " Also I am actually your father's cousin"

"Cousin?" I say surprised. There are so many things I don't know about my father.

She continues. "Yes and he never treats us to anything. That is why you were never told you had uncles or cousins."

"No. My mother-"

"That is your mother's side but your father's side is all just a secret." She hisses. "He kept us away"

"But why?" I ask confused. Why would my father keep his family a secret? This is not true. My mother is too kind to choose someone like that. I know nice people can become mean too but I know my mother wouldn't be with someone like that.

"Isn't it obvious? He's embarrassed by us!" Seth says loudly.

"Or maybe you are just Jealous," I say loud enough for him to hear. He frowns and immediately was in front of me. He bents down to my level and squish my cheeks tightly. I feel his nails poking my skin. I think my cheeks are already bleeding. "Jealous?" He laughs and releases my cheek. His loud laughs make my ears hurt. I wanted to try to cover my ears but my hands were still tied.

He stops laughing and looks at me. He moves my shirt exposing my shoulder.

"Are you seriously going to drink right now!?" Scarlet scoffs. "I thought we were going to drain her blood by using the tubes"

" scar. Let me have my drink. Raw from the shoulder" Seth says and I feel his nail cut my skin.

"I want to make her suffer more but slowly" She whines. Seth growls at her. She rolls her eyes and walks out the doors leaving me with him. Shit, he is going to drink my blood.! I can't let him do that. He shows his fangs and bends closer to my shoulder.

I noticed my legs were still free. His grip on my arm is strong but with all my strength, I kick him in the balls. He goes cross-eyed and clenches his private area. I stand up with wobbly legs. I look around the room to see if there was anything sharp. I see figures around the place. They were holding swords. I put my hand over it and it cuts the ropes. My hands are free!

Seth tries to reach out to leave a scar on my face. I jump back in response. He flares his fangs at me furiously. The throne room has colored glass windows all over the place. If I go by the door, it will take a long time.

"This is for my friends!" I scream and run into his chest, pushing him. We crash out of the window making the other parts of it shatter, he notices and flips me so that I will take the hit first.

I try to push his arms away but he was too strong. My body crashes to the large ground. I could feel like my head had split in half. I groan in pain as I sit up. Seth punches me in the face and later in my stomach, making me crash into the buildings. I drop to the ground. I was bleeding everywhere. My vision is blurry but I won't give up.

I feel helpless when the pictures of them being injured by Scarlet. Rage fills within me. Seth comes for me but someone pushes him away.

"William!?" I shout happily. "You are alive!" I exclaim

"Of course I am! Elizabeth and Zen are coming!" He says before getting punched by Seth. William slides back like it was nothing. What!? Everyone is alive!? Oh, Thank God! I see Zen in the distance together with Elizabeth. Relieve washes over me. I run towards them and gave them a tighter hug.

"Woah easy there" Zen laughs weakly. I let go of the hug and look if Elizabeth was okay. She gives me a nod assuring me she was okay. I look at Zen whose wound is now gone. I jump and wrap my arms around him. I just need to feel his warmth again. I can't stop my hands from shaking at all. I was so scared, you have no idea. For some reason, he calms my nerves straight away.

" Are you okay?" He whispers in my ear making me Shiver. I release the hug. I nod. "You are shaking" He holds my small hands in his. My cheeks heat up and I quickly pull my arms behind my back. "Yea, I'm okay" I smile and hold my shaky hands behind my back tightly. I'm honestly scared but I don't want to worry anyone.

"Watch out" Zen pushes me behind him. Scarlet appears in didn't of us while William was still fighting with Seth in the background. She licks her lips and smirks. She tries to attack me but Zen blocks me.

"Help William!" He winced at the impact when she hit him with her spear.

"No, I won't leave you!" My chests hurt as I replied.

" please. I can hold her off" Zen says a little softer. I bite my lip. "Alright," I say hesitantly but went to help William anyway. Elizabeth stops walking and puts her hand on the side of her stomach.

"Beth, what's wrong?" I move her hands to reveal a wound. She is bleeding. I run to the nearest cloth I could see in the ground and tear it apart. "You are still bleeding! Why did you say you were okay?" She looks at me with regretful eyes and lets me wrap the cloth around her.

"Stay here, till you feel better" I pull her to a safe spot and ran to William. William is a very strong fighter from what I have seen. I'm guessing my father taught him. William flies and hits the wall. I quickly slide my body on the ground and kick Seth's legs. He loses his balance and falls.

He gets up too soon and turns around to me. He commands something and thousands of soldiers appear. "Attack!" He shouts and they all start to run down the castle.

You got to be kidding me.
