Darkness. All I can see is darkness but my body is unconscious. No wait, I feel something cold on my fingers. I feel my eyebrows twitch. I'm not dead yet? Come on wake up Kalee!

From something cold, now I feel something warm wrapping around my fingers. I hear muffling sounds but it soon clears up. I hear someone crying and the person was holding my hand very tightly. Thunder roars across the sky.

"wake up" I hear a majestic voice in my head. "What?" I say

"Wake up Kalee," The majestic voice says again. "who are you?" I ask.

"I am the one who gifted you these powers and watched over you," The majestic voice replies. "Your time to die has not yet come. Wake up" The majestic voices echos in my head.

My eyes shoot open and I gasp for air. I breathe heavily trying to get as much oxygen as I could. "Kalee?" I turn my head to see Zen with red puffy eyes. "You are alive!" He hugs me.

"Yea," I say weakly. He releases the hug and cups my face with his hands. "You were dead," He says with his voice trembling.

"I won't die so easily dummy" I laugh softly. I feel this weird connection between us again and I have no idea what it is. Every time, I look at him, my heart flutters, and I wish to kiss him. "Why do I feel this way?" I say out loud.

"What do you mean?" He asks while his hands were cupped on my cheeks.

"Why do I feel so drawn to you?" I reply. He uncups my cheeks and takes a deep breath.

"That's our mate bond," He says so softly, I could barely hear it.

"Whats a mate bond?" I ask. "I've heard people say that word" I frown.

"It means that we were chosen to be together," He says softly. "and the weird electricity feeling is part of it,"

"Wow," I breathe. I raise my arm and cup one side of his face. He jerks back slightly surprise by my touch. "Have I ever told you that you make my heart pound all the time?" I smile.

"No" he replies surprised.

"I think I like you" I rub my fingers on his cheek gently.

"You like me?" He looks at me in relief.

"Yea. In fact, I think I was in love with you this whole time." I chuckle. He doesn't say anything but gazes into my eyes. His eyes start to glitter. He leans closer to my face and kisses me on my lips. My stomach flutters and I feel fireworks starting to build around us. We don't stop and our kisses turn into full of passion. I feel my body lifted up and I was now sitting up.

We stop to catch our breath. I put our heads together. "I have never dreamed to have a mate" He breathes and continues. " No matter how many times I tried to make myself hate you. I just couldn't. I love you Kalee" He smiles. "And please don't ever leave me"

"I will never leave you" I separate our heads and pat his head.

I was soon pushed to the ground with a hug. "Elizabeth!" I exclaim

"Kalee" She cries

"Oh my.. Beth. I'm so sorry" I sit up and she releases the hug. She wipes her flowing tears. She shakes her head and hugs me again. I pat her back. "It's okay. I'm here" I see William in the distance limping on one foot to us.

"So you finally told her what a mate is?" William laughs. Zen looks away embarrassed.

"Took you long enough kid" William laughs again and later sighs in relief. "And I am glad you are alive" He looks at me. I feel my eyes watering and a teardrop down my face. These weren't sad tears. They were happy tears. Elizabeth lets go of the hug and wipe my tears away.

"So his dead" Zen points to Seth's body unconscious on the ground. "What now?"

William looks at me and smiles. "Its time for you to come home"

"Me?" I stand up on my feet slowly. Zen steadies me by holding my arm.

"Its time to tell the people who you are" William nods

"you know I didn't know you were a princess" Zen raises his eyebrows.

"That's because nobody knows," I laugh.

"You are going to be a great Queen" He smiles making me blush. He's so cute when he smiles.

"You think so?" I raise my eyebrows. He kisses my forehead. "Yes," He whispers.

Elizabeth nods too.

"So what are you going to do?" William asks me. I hold onto the necklace that was hung around my neck and clench it in my hands. I really have no idea. Taking the throne is a big deal and I have no experience. "Have courage, my daughter" I hear my mother's voice in my head.

"Mum?" I reply in my head.

"Don't be afraid. Take courage and save the world" Mum's voice echoes in my head. I try calling her but she doesn't reply back. I look down at the ring that is on my necklace. I take a deep breath and answer William "I'm going to save this country and the people"

And with that, I was off on another journey.
