Kalee's POV
We went stall to stall, trying the food they have. It's wonderful how all the cities has different things. However one thing I notice is that there a lot more people homeless than last time. I was holding Elizabeth's hand while William and Zen was walking behind us. I've never felt this happy in a long time. I have lived alone for quite a long time and having friends is amazing!
I didn't notice a little boy running. He bumps straight into my stomach. And I stumble back.
"Are you okay?" I put my free hand on his shoulder and step back so that I can look at his face. He rubs his eyes and apologises. He runs behind me and I turn around to see him catch up with a bunch of kids.
"What's wrong?" William asks and looks behind.
"Nothing. The boy bumped into me. I'm just checking if his okay" I Shrug.
"His fine, I'm sure" William assures me and I Nod. I turn around and keep walking while holding Elizabeth's hand. She is so cute in her dress. She is like a real life doll.
We Continue walking through the busy street and something catches my eye. I see a woman dressed very differently in the distance. My stomach turns telling me that something bad is going to happen. I stop in my tracks causing William and Zen to stop behind. The woman walks closer and lifts her hat up. Now her eyes exposed. I could see her eyes with the same shade of red that her hair has.
"Whats the matter?" William frowns and shakes my shoulder.
"Kalee are you okay?"I hear Zen but didn't answer because I was absorbed into my thoughts. I feel my breathing become uneasy. I remember those red eyes. Where have I seen them?
12 years ago (Aged: 6)
"Go!" Darcy pushes me to the opening of the forest. A man grabs my sisters arm. "Ow! Let go of me!" She screams.
"NO" I Scream and run to bite his wrists. He shouts in pain and falls to the ground. I grab her hand and ran further into the forest. Darcy pulls me behind a huge tree. Arrows shoots past us but we were protected by the huge tree.
"Darcy I'm scared" I cry holding unto her shirt tightly.
"It's going to be okay" She hugs me and I hug her back. She hears something which I didn't hear. She hugs me tighter and whispers "I love you" My eyes opens wide when I hear something snap and she falls to the ground. An arrow points up from her back.
I gasp and tears starts rolling down my eyes. Darcy weakly says "Run Kalee...Y-you have to hurry.." before she blacks out.
I stumble back not knowing what to do. I look up on a tree brunch to see a lady with bright red eyes looking straight down at me. She was holding a bow. She killed Darcy. I scream and with all my might, I ran away.
Present-day (Age: 18)
She throws her hat to the side exposing her whole face. She takes out a pin, letting her hair drop down all the way to her waist. She smirks and pulls out a spear from her back. She still takes her time walking but each minute she walks closer. I feel like I can't breathe.
"Kalee" Zen turns me around, making me face him. "You have to tell us what's going on" He shakes my shoulders waking me up.
"Is that? Oh no" William steps back. "We should leave now!"
William pulls me and I pull Elizabeth with me. Zen follows behind.
"What's going on!" Zen asks frustratedly
"That lady in the distance-" I take a breath. "-I know her"
"What?" Zen looks at me confused and looks behind him. I look behind as well. She was a walking faster. "Who the hell is she?" Zen frowns.
