// Third POV //Seungmin is decent at working out. Not great but not too bad, bad enough to notice though. He sees the looks that BangChan gives him when they work out together.
Chan wasn't making fun of him. When he works out with his younger friends, he observes them to make sure they don't hurt themselves. He knows that it makes Seungmin nervous but he couldn't help it.
Seungmin gave a side eye to the leader when he got in the car.
"What's wrong?"
"I hate that look you give me."
"What look?"
"Don't lie."
"You know me. I'm only watching out for you."
The younger man seized the leader's arm, Chan seeing that he was crying.
"Minnie."
"They're going to put me on a diet again, hyungie."
"Hyung won't let that happen." It hurt BangChan to see Seungmin's tears.
"You don't have a say in it." Seungmin held onto his arms. The anxiety felt familiar to him, he goes through this once a year and he was tired of it. Tired of it all.
BangChan knows this time of year is hard for Seungmin. He loved his dongsaeng so much that he often took on his problems. It was hard to tell what was bothering Seungmin, he was always so happy and positive.
Seungmin always talked to the leader if his thoughts began to overwhelm him. He was glad, but he wished that there was something he could do.
Their manager will put Seungmin on a diet if he doesn't maintain his weight. He looked fine to Chan but the Korean audiences weren't hesitant to point it out, true or not true.
The last time he was on this diet, it led him to the hospital. He was only supposed to eat once a day, and it couldn't be too much. It was cruel, the lack of food is enough to drive a man mad.
"What's wrong with me, hyung?" Seungmin cried, "I try but it doesn't work, ever. Why is it only me?"
Chan put Seungmin's head on his shoulder. He could practically hear Seungmin's thoughts screaming.
"It's not you, Minnie. I'll help you, we're both gonna cut back on the carbs and give you more water. The rest of the guys will get in on it too."
"Are you sure?" Seungmin let Chan wipe his eyes.
"That's what a team does, we won't let you be back on that fucking diet again. Ever again. Do you understand?"
Seungmin picked his head up, smiling at his leader: "Yes, hyungie. I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault, it's all psychological."

The plan worked...in Chan's mind.
In reality, Seungmin wasn't doing good. The first few days seemed like it was but after two weeks of the same meal and same drink, practicing, and weighing himself he was going insane.
In the daytime, Seungmin was cooperative and happy but at night, he was an animal. He would sneak downstairs while everyone was asleep and raid the refrigerator like a mouse.
He was guilty that he was leading everyone on but it was working for him so far so why stop?
When Seungmin was sure his roommates were sound asleep, he crept out of room and walked tiptoed downstairs to the kitchen.
