If there's one thing I would like to do over and over again, it's that I wanted to travel with someone who appreciate the wonder of the world. Pero ang sabi nila, kahit maliit na bagay lamang 'yan at hindi malayo kung saan nagmula ay kung anong destinasyon ang magsisilbing taga-salin ng mga experience at mga lesson sa buhay.
I've been through so much—maybe not as much as anyone else pero masasabi ko naman na ang journey ko ay hindi isang puchu-puchu na dinaanan ko lamang. I've been taking that road para malaman ko kung hanggang saan ang magiging kakayanan ko at kung saan ang magiging limitasyon ko.
May mga bagay kasing kahit gusto natin abutin, kailangan nating bitawan at some point in our life, but that doesn't mean we have to give it up forever. Just take another road then reroute back to it once you fulfilled that other goal. Sa madaling salita, everything will fall to its right place once it's time to happen.
Naramdaman ko naman ang pagpatong ng kamay ni Cholo sa balikat ko. His smile was everything. Nakawawala ng pagod. Nakabubuhay, and that's just because of his positive outlook in life na mahahawa ka na lang at hindi mapapansin.
Pababa na kasi kami ng aircraft. We just landed into a European country para gawin itong super unbelievably, crazy travel na plinano namin for months. I'm not sure how this travel would go pero naniniwala naman akong may magandang pupuntahan lahat ng kalutangan namin most of the time.
"Excited ka na ba?" he grinned.
Tumango naman ako. "I was never been so excited."
"Weh? Parang hindi halata," pang-aasar pa nito.
"Oo nga! I'm just containing it. Hindi naman palaging pinapakita ang excitement 'no."
"Sabagay." Kibit-balikat pa nito. "But yeah, after all those years, we'll be sailing now."
"It's kinda make me nervous at the same time," aniko.
Napakunot-noo naman si Cholo. He scoffed. "What are you nervous about?"
"Masyadong delikado kasi ang karagatan 'no, what if may mangyaring masama?"
He heaved out a deep sigh and mess my hair with his hands. "Bakit mo ba iniisip 'yon? Kaya nga ngayon tayo pumunta rito kasi this would be the best time to sail in the Mediterranean Sea. Don't you worry about those things, Zo. We'll be safe at saka hindi lang naman tayong dalawa ang nando'n. It'll be fine."
"Agree, Tita Zo!" singit naman ni Cholo. "This is my first time and I wanna experience the thing you did before! I mean sa mga kwento pa lang ni dad ay super excited na ako. This would be a crazy travel."
"Tama, nak," ani Cholo. "You'll love this."
Naalala ko naman 'yong mga panahong mga pinaggagawa namin ni Cholo no'n. If I do clearly remembered, we've kissed multiple times and those have been cherished in my memories kahit na hindi na namin napag-uusapan 'yon. And sometimes I've been thinking what could happen if something happened after that kiss? Kasi hanggang ngayon hindi ko alam ang sagot.
