"hey dudes," jiyoung entered the large house owned by the zhong family.

"yo, yo, bro~" nayeon sang, eyes focused in on the tv as she played against jaemin and chenle. the others greeted her back as well while still watching the tv in anticipation.

her feet led her to an empty spot on the couch next to donghyuck, making herself comfortable between the side of the couch and the boy.

"i haven't seen you in like a week, where have you been?" donghyuck asked.

jiyoung raised a brow, "i saw you at school earlier?"

"i meant outside of school. you've been gone for far too long."

"i hung out with jaemin and renjun friday since we weren't having a hangout." she laughed, placing her things down beside the couch.

"oh, i see. blanket?" he asked, lifting the side of the fuzzy white blanket laying on his legs.

she nodded, taking the long blanket and covering herself with it. "so what's up?"

he looked back to the tv, watching it closely again. "they're trying to beat chenle's record."

"again?"

donghyuck nodded, leaning back. "they've been at it since i arrived. and that was like fifteen minutes ago. still have yet to beat the kid."

"they've been playing mario cart for the last fifteen minutes?" she laughed.

he nodded, "over and over again with no different results. jaemin, third. nayeon, second. chenle, first."

she looked over at him to ask a question but got distracted by his hair. while looking at him, she had missed jaemin's and nayeon's loss to chenle once again.

"what's wrong?" donghyuck asked, noticing her squinting gaze.

"you have a piece of lint in your hair, i think."

"where?" he asked, his hand reaching upward to the top of his head.

she slightly laughed while giving him directions while the others switched out positions to challenge chenle.

"no, no, you idiot. i said up not down!" she laughed, leaning forward slightly in habit.

"your bad at giving directions!" donghyuck complained, throwing up his hands.

"come here, i'll get it out for you."

he leaned closer towards jiyoung, tilting his head down a bit as she reached her hand out to grab the small white piece.

two couches over sat the two cousins and jeno, nayeon being sat in the middle of the two boys.

"i hate this game," nayeon huffed, "he's so good, it's disgusting. are you mad too?" she turned to jaemin's expecting him to agree but was confused when she realized he hadn't been listening to her, only staring longingly across the room towards jiyoung and donghyuck.
