"WHAT IS THIS PLACE?"

Tom smiled as he positioned the bag he'd brought along down on the floor, against the wall. He'd brought the two teenagers to a building which only held one vast room inside. It sort of reminded them of their gym, except this one was much heftier.

Tom turned around to face the two teenagers who were still looking around, though there was barely much to see, except for the few items Tom had decided to bring along for the training.

"This is the Power Training Building. It's been here for quite a while, but I heard they were going to be turning it into something else starting from next week, so I decided to bring you two here before they carried on with the idea," Tom explained. "Whenever you wanted to practice using your abilities, you could always come here to do it. There was a ton of space, plus it's free. I remember how many people would always come here every day. This building was never empty at all. Now, you must be wondering 'why did I bring you two here. Well, I was specifically planning on only taking Marinette, but I don't mind having one extra student. Welcome, Adrien.

"I just thought perhaps there were a few things I could do to help when it comes to your abilities. Perhaps, raise your confidence a little higher, help you figure out your animal form, help you use your power more efficiently and have it under control." He then turned around to face the items he'd picked out. "These are just things I thought might help. I got them here to this building in advance before the three of us came here together."

Behind him was a wooden table that looked like it was going to fall apart in any minute now, 2 wooden chairs that were missing a leg, and 3 other wooden chairs that were missing all four legs. There was an empty box, a mannequin with clothes on, but missing an arm, and a large stuffed dog that was missing one eye.

"I know it may all seem weird, but I'm sure we can make use of what we've got here. Say, Adrien. . . what exactly are you having problems with when it comes to your abilities?"

Adrien seemed to think about it for a few seconds, though it didn't take long before he answered. "I have a thing called Cataclysm. I can basically destroy anything I touch. I don't necessarily have any problem with it, but I know I can do much better than what I've done so far."

"Then, show me what you've done."

Adrien inhaled slightly, before heading over to one of the wooden chairs. He took out an arm right in front of him and dark energy seemed to surround his hand before he lightly pressed his palm against the table. The table's light brown colour was immediately changed to black once touched before it completely broke down into pieces.

Marinette stood there with wide bug eyes, watching with astonishment. Though she'd been told of what his powers were, Adrien had never once demonstrated any of them, so she got a little excited with what was going on.

"Well, how about this!" Tom snapped his fingers together as he picked up the table and placed it right in front of Adrien. "You'll need to do a lot of focusing for this, Adrien. Instead of breaking down the entire table. . . try breaking down only one of the legs of the table. Think you can do that?"

"I can try."

Both Tom and Marinette watched with focused and interested eyes as Adrien pressed his palm against one of the legs the table had, dark energy already surrounding his hand. The leg he was touching turned dark, but it hadn't stopped there, the dark energy from his hand spreading throughout the entire table, until the whole table had eventually collapsed down into pieces. Adrien looked up with dissatisfaction, but Tom was grinning like crazy at what he'd just seen.

"Nobody ever gets the hard stuff right on the first try, Adrien. Don't lose hope. With more practice, you can definitely succeed in doing as I'd suggested." He gave Adrien's back a light, relieving pat, bringing a smile upon the blonde's face.
