today was the day. 

the day i waa about to meet my biological mother. 

"you ready? " yangyang called out as i was still doing my makeup. 

"i'm still doing my makeup wait. " i called back.

"but you don't need it. " he cooed as he back hugged me all of a sudden.

" yah you scared me. " i said picking my lipstick that i dropped.

"whoopsies sorry. " he replied.

"okay let's go. " i said and we both left to go to the car.

we finally reached the destination after what felt like decades.

we kncocked for a few times and waited. 

a sweet looking lady welcomed us and embraced me in a warm hug that moved me to tears.

"why are you crying dear? " she asked concerned and yangyang gave me the ' you okay? ' look.

"it's nothing i'm just really happy to finally meet you. " i beamed.

"likewise honey.  why don't you two take a seat and i'll perpare some tea? " she suggested and we did as we were told.
