"when did you adopt him? " i asked curiously.

"a few months back and i'm so sorry of what he and his dad did to you . " she apologized. 

"his dad, isn't he your husband? " yangyang asked. 

" no we got a divorce a while back. " she said. 

"why? " yangyang asked.

"he gamblers a lot and i didn't like it so i left him. " she said as she poured our tea and motioned for us to have some. 

"wait. " yangyang stopped me from drinking the tea. 

"how can we be sure that you didn't poison this tea? " yangyang asked.

"why would i do that? " she laughed nervously. 

"then drink my tea. " i told her.
