After gaining the trust of the survey corps, you find out where they were going to set up camp. As they trudged up the hill on horse, you stayed on the beach to watch the sunset. You did this almost every day. When you couldn't, you were hiding from the Marley's deep within' the sand doons. Looking down, Levi and Hange watch your form.
"I don't trust them," the captain speaks up.
Behind them, the scouts were setting up their home for the night.
"I don't fully trust them either, but, if Eren says so, I'll take his word for it... For now at least," Hange replies, stepping away front the cliff.
Levi stands there for a while longer before following after the commander. Once the sun was finally gone, you zip your way back towards camp. Gently, you set your boots against the soft grass and step forward. Infornt of you was two large green tents, between them was a small camp fire. Or, soon to be. You try not to laugh as Connie and Jean try to set it a flame. Eren turns towards you as you approach the group.
"Dammit... This is your fault for forgetting fluid to light the damn thing!" Jean fires.
"Me!? You were the one who was supposed to bring it!" Connie retaliates.
Snapping your fingers, the two jump back as the pieces of wood catch on fire. The group turns towards you as you take a seat on the grass. Sliding in your direction, Hange begins to smile wickedly.
"How did you do that!? You just snapped your fingers! Gloves, non the less," she spits out.
"Wow! Can you do other things? Like create food!?" Sasha follows up.
Swiftly, Levi drags the two females back as you raise an eyebrow from under your goggles. To be quite frank, you only found out you could lit things on fire a week ago.
"Let's eat first before we start asking questions," Armin suggests.
You watch as they begin to set up a stand over the fire pit. It was made out of two metal bars and a small but spacious pot. Armin, Jean, and Mikasa were cutting up the vegetables as Hange put water into the pot to bowl. You wouldn't let it show, but under your bandana, drool escaped your mouth. It's been a year since you actually smelt or looked at food.
"So, (y/n), did you have another job before becoming a guardian?" Eren takes a seat across from you.
They watch as you take off the bottom half of your gear. It looked like it was just a metal rod strapped around your waist.
"Yes, actually, it's more like another world," you state, beginning to take off your gloves.
"Another world?" Jean questions next.
You unclasp the leather armbands as they clank onto the grassy flooring.
"Titans don't exist where I used to live, I'm only here cause I died in that one," you finish.
Their eyes slightly widen, besides Levi, who just glares more.
"You said you knew everything here? Is that true?" Hange questions.
Once your gear was off, you got comfortable on the grass. After crossing your legs together, you lean forward and rest one hand under your chin.
"Yes, I know any and everything of this world. I've waited a year for you all to arrive, haven't I?" You question.
"I.. Suppose, yes, but, why us specifically?" Hange adds.
"Well, it's obvious isnt it?" you tease slightly before leaning back. "Your the only ones who can save the future of humanity."
