Chapter 23

Jackson walked out the office's of Morgan company. Jackson walked towards his car. He still couldn't believe he told Morgan to go to hell. It was rare that someone told Morgan were to get off, the courage he had today was unbelievable. Jackson looks at the premise of Morgan's company, today was a final day he would be here. It felt kinda sad to see how things have worked out, he missed the days were Morgan was still a good and honest boss to work for.

The murder of Taylor and Luke's aunt was a final straw for him. He couldn't take it anymore to play happy while he was unhappy with how the company was being ran, what frustrated him the most was how Morgan treated his employees, he treated them like his slaves.

Jackson's only worry was the safety of his family, he knew Morgan would target his family to hurt him. He needed to act fast as time was against him. Jackson took out his phone, he dialed a his contact.

The call was answered by a male voice. "Cousin, what a surprise."

Jackson looked at impatient. "Hi, listen I need you to go to my family home and take my family to a place of safety."

"What happening? You're scaring me. Are you in trouble?" The man asks.

"Listen, I don't have time to explain everything to you. Just get my family to a safe place! I'll contact you tonight for further instructions."

"Okay, cousin."

Jackson ends the call. As he about to open the door, he saw Trigger approaching him.

"What did I say? I told you play it cool. Morgan is furious because of what you just did inside." Trigger snaps.

"Trigger, I'm tired of this toxic place. I can't stay here any longer. Luke's family didn't deserve to be murdered."

Trigger looks at Jackson with an intense look.

"Luke made his downfall, his mistakes are hurting us. You know very well that in this business no mistakes are allowed."

"I don't have time to be debating with you about Luke. It clear you have sided with your precious boss." Jackson opens the car door.

Trigger takes out his baretta Px4 Storm gun, he aims it toward Jackson.

"You're not going anywhere. Morgan instructed me to get rid of you once and for all." Trigger informed.

Jackson closes the car door, he slowly moves towards Trigger.

"I see. Morgan sent you his favorite slave to do his dirty work. Why didn't Morgan comes himself and finish me?"

"I'm no one's slave you hear me. I warned you that you must all times obey Morgan. Look now, I've to take you out because of your stupidity."

"Trigger, do it! Shoot me now!"

"Jackson, I'm sorry this is not personal it just business."

Morgan stood near his window as he watches Trigger's confrontation with Jackson.

"Come on, just shoot him." Morgan says.

"I guess this is the end for me. Trigger, just get this over with." Jackson says.

"I'm sorry." Trigger says as he shot Jackson on the chest twice.

Morgan watches as Jackson falls on the ground. Morgan nod his head.
