Saturday morning found Logan sitting on his terrace staring out at nothing in particular. The phone call with her the night before had not gone as planned. He was dumbfounded that she could actually think he would just walk away from her, after everything they had meant to each other. She was clearly under the impression that he was the same old Logan Huntzberger, Yale Playboy Extraordinaire. She was wrong and he was going to prove just how wrong she was.
Texting and phone calls with Rory had not gone well so he figured this time he would send her an email.

Rory –
I'm sorry for last night. I can only tell you that I believed that I had texted you on Sunday night to postpone our meeting. I would never stand you up, you're the last girl any sane man would ever want to stand up. You might think a lot of things about me, but I hope you still believe me to be sane.
I know asking for a second chance is a big risk considering everything that has happened over the last week, but please Ace, meet me today. I need to talk to you. Meet me at the Central Park Literary Walk at 3:30PM ... I'll be sitting on our bench.
If you don't show up I will take that as a sign that you want to move forward without me and I will respect your decision. You don't have to give me an answer now ... make the pro/con list and if it ends up in my favor, you know where I will be.

Logan found himself in Central Park waiting on the bench for Rory. It was 3:37PM and there was no sign of her in sight. The cons must have outweighed the pros on her list he thought to himself as he started to stand. He took in a deep breath and released it slowly as he walked away from their bench preparing himself for a new future without the woman he loved. He had promised he would respect her decision and he meant it, but that didn't mean it wouldn't be hard to do.
As he walked a little further he heard a voice calling out from behind him:
"Leaving already? You know a Gilmore Girl needs a 15 minute buffer, right?"
He stopped in his tracks and turned around and there she was, blue eyes shining under the New York sky – his Ace.
