DBH North x Android!Reader

(Warning: Some parts of this do not line up with the story because I haven't done all the different paths.)

This was it, the final stand. There was maybe 30 of you left after some got shot down during the walk to the camp. You helped Markus push a car side ways to make the barricade around your group stronger. You sighed, looking up at the news helicopter and the journalist, before climbing over the car and back into the barricade. You watched as Markus walked around and talked to some of the androids, making sure everyone was calm. To help out you set the flag up facing towards the camp and made a little virtual poster on another side of the barricade facing towards where the journalists are. You walk up to North and give her a smile before looking out over the land in front of you, watching the swat team.

"This is really it huh." You say. "It all ends here either good or bad." You feel North grab your hand and give it a squeeze. After a few minutes of watching and holding hands, one of the humans starting waking up. Yelling about wanting to talk to Markus. You were all a little skeptical but Markus wanted to talk to the man anyways. Your body was tense as you watched Markus and the man talk, you were ready for anything. Luckily, Markus walked back and stood in top of boxes ready to announce something. However before he could speak and bomb was thrown over the barricade wall and made everyone scatter.

You hid behind a trash can as you watched everyone panic. You couldn't find Markus or North and hoped they were both okay. You watched in front of you as a swat person aimed a gun at an Android trying to move another android behind cover. Without hesitation, you grabbed a piece of metal from the ground and covered them while they got to cover. You helped a few other people out before joining the remaining androids that were backed to a bus. You watched in fear as they pointed their guns towards your group. Unbeknownst to you, the President of the United States was watching everything go down. She realized how bad it looked that 7 swat team members were point there bug guns at a small group, maybe 15, unarmed peaceful protesting androids. She spoke to the person next to her. "Tell them to stand down."

You watched in shock as the humans in front of you all simultaneously lowered their guns and started slowly retreating. You were about to celebrate when you saw one of the swat members seeming break from there group and ignore orders. It felt like time slowed as you watched the person send out 3 bullets before their squad mates could tackle him. You felt your body go on autopilot as you pushed North and Markus apart and away from where the bullets were aiming, only to catch them with your body instead. Everyone was silent for a moment, the journalists, swat team, androids, even the president. You looked down in shock your self as blue blood started to spill out of your wounds like a water fall.

As you started falling to the ground, North rushed in to catch you. "What were you thinking!?" North asked as she leaned you against her. You did a diagnostic scan of your body to see that the bullets had hit 2 major bio components, there was no way you were gonna live. "I had to protect you." You say looking up at North who had artificial tears all over her face. You go to wipe away a tear just to leave a smudge of blue blood on her cheek. "I've already lost too much... I can't lose you too." North sobs out. "What do you mean we can just find new bio components right? Fix her up if she deactivates." North shakes her head at Markus as you continue to stare up at her, you don't know what'll happen after you die but you do know you hope you will still be able to imagine her face.

"Y/n is from a failed line of androids. Only 50 were ever made and y/n was the only one to escape. They were testing out new bio components but trashed them all after they failed. Markus sunk to his knees at the new info. He didn't want to lose you, you were like a sister to him. "It'll be okay Markus." You say as you watch all your systems start to fail one by one, you vision filling with red from all the warning signs. "We're free now, everything will be okay." North shook her head at your statement, "But now you'll never get to experience it. Remember we planned to do the most human thing we could after all this was over. You know go to a zoo or something." You look at North one more time feeling your body shut down. "I'm sorry we'll never get to do those things." An artificial tear slips out of your eye and you reach a hand up and to the back of North's head, pulling her towards you for a final kiss. "I love youuuu..." you say as you completely shut down. North let's tears fall faster and holds your body close to her. They won but at what cost?
