chapter 12

Amy is so cracked up after seeing Cheryl come out in a cardigan and jeans that she couldn't stop herself from laughing every 5 seconds

"You know what Amy I don't give a shit" Cheryl snaps

"About what?"Amy questions

"About what you think of my looks"

"I was just kidding Cheryl and you know that"

"Then fucking don't" Cheryl snaps

"It's not that big of a deal"

"You are laughing on me since half fucking hour and yes it's not that big of a 'deal' "
"I never saw you in anything other than shorts or dresses it's gonna take time for my eyes to adjust "

"You guys stop fighting already" I shout at them. They are arguing  since we left and it's getting on my nerves

"Anyway guys James and Misha have officially broken up," Amy tells us I am not in a mood to talk about that

"So you think he is ready to fuck you," Cheryl snaps

"Wha-"

"Never gonna happen, Amy give up " Cheryl asserts

"What now you also decided to be psychic after becoming an old granny"

"Amy shut the fuck up okay "  Cheryl raises her voice

"You know what You need to do that "

"Grow up Amy You are an adult, not a 7-year-old kid "

"And what are you a grandma huh?"

"Guys" I begin but they continue their fight

"Nobody gives a flying fuck about James and Misha" Cheryl barks

"You are just being a bitch"

"You are bitching about people's business and I am being a bitch?"
"Guys stop" but they ignore me and I don't think they are gonna stop so I hit the brakes and Cheryl's car comes to a stop

"Unbelievable " Cheryl snaps and gets out of the car shutting the door with a bang

"Amy you shouldn't have said anything," I say and get out to get Cheryl

"Cheryl....." She is standing in the middle of the highway with her hands crossed

"I don't wanna go now, You both go I will find a taxi," She says looking at me straight in the eye

"We decided we will go together Now you can't bail "

"She is right" Amy stands behind me and starts saying "Cheryl this is not you so stop being a cranky baby"

"Sole purpose of this trip was to have fun with each other as we used to do but look at us...I don't think we can do that anymore" Cheryl says it with bloodshot eyes
I can't take this anymore

"YES WE CAN, It's not like you both were fighting for the first time," I tell her but she turns her head sideways and I lose it

"Look Cheryl I know you are going through some crap but this is ridiculous you don't know how much worried I am about you I can't sleep thinking about what is it that is hurting you to this extent and......John, he is tensed too.....even Amy can understand that something is wrong. I know you are not ready to tell us but please at least tell us everything will be okay...you will be okay ....we will be okay " I run out of breath and look at all three of us standing in the middle of the road

Cheryl starts to speak but Amy intervenes "Is someone blackmailing you?"

"NO" she confirms but continues after a pause "This is not something small This can change my life in a way that I never imagined "

"Tell us, I am scared " Amy shouts

"I can't" her voice cracks and without thinking twice I and Amy hug her

"It's okay we will be here and you tell us whenever you are ready then we will face it together " I speak and we stand there in silence hugging each other

"So are we going or not?" Amy questions

"Yes we are " Cheryl and I answer in unison

All three of us get in the car and I start driving towards Hamets

"So how are things with Liam" They both look at me but I don't know if I should tell them that I am unsure about trusting him?

"I....don't know," 

" What do you mean?"

"I mean I feel good when I am with him but I also think he is hiding something from me"

" I know why would you think that, " Cheryl says and I look at her " He never talks about his past...like none of John's friend knows about his family"

"Yeah...he never talks about his family   and it's okay if he doesn't want to but ...he never tells me things....well he tells me but not important ones "

"You just started dating give that boy some time" Amy brings her head in the middle of the front seats and Cheryl nods

"I guess " I sigh and look at the side mirror and find that whole road is empty except for us and a truck

"I am hungry just 1 hour more and we will be there," Amy says

"I can't wait to get home" I mumble
