"What the hell, Violet? What was that?" I asked her, feeling my pulse rising unsteadily.

"I'm sorry, okay! I just thought you two should talk about your problems instead of avoiding each other every chance you get!" She said defensively.

"It's not your problem to fix, Violet. I don't understand why you brought him here!"

"I brought him here because he wants to be an adult and talk to you."

"Oh yeah, I'm sure. That's why he was glaring daggers at you when I was taking your order." I retorted sarcastically, rolling my eyes as I took a puff off of the cigarette.

"Where are you? We want to talk to you in person."

"We?" I opened the back door to the bar, throwing my half-smoked cigarette on the ground before I walked inside. "Violet I'm working I can't talk right now."

"No you're not. We talked to that gorgeous bartender - she said you went home for the night." I shook my head taking a mental note to talk to Hannah about lying. I walked past the kitchen and Jason's office heading towards the bar.

"Well she's wrong because I'm standing next to her." I told her, glancing around the bar searching for them.

"Well come outside then!"

"Violet, I got to go. I'm working. I'll talk to you guys when I get off." She asked me what time I got off and I told her that I didn't know that I was staying until they didn't need me anymore.

"Okay. I guess we will talk after work then." She hung up the phone and I watched as she walked back into the bar with Theodore and Elliot.

"There you are. I've been taking care of your table for a half an hour." Hannah found me first.

"I'm sorry if it makes you feel better I can tell them to leave you a generous tip but I do have to go." I said reassuringly, making a list of what the bar needed to be restocked.

"I better." She huffed before I walked away heading towards the back of the bar. I sent Violet a text telling her that they needed to give Hannah a decent tip since she was the one taking care of them for the rest of the night.

Violet | 11:48 pm

That's fine but wya?

Sophia | 11:50 pm

I'm cleaning up and stocking the bar ... why?

Violet | 11:51pm

Cause Theodore needs to talk to you.

I wasn't ready to talk out our problems. He was the one who broke whatever it was turning into off in the first place. I wasn't looking for a relationship when I first got to the shelter, hell I'm still not really looking. I mean I was perfectly fine with being just friends with him up until he kissed me. I stocked up the bin and double checked the list making sure that I had stocked everything in the bin.

The bar was loud and obnoxious with the music and the chatter of sixty patrons. I stocked the bar quickly and silently before walking into Jason's office letting him know that I was about to leave. He gave me next week's schedule and a quick goodnight before I walked out of his office in search of Hannah. I found her in the Kitchen talking to John.

"Hey okay so I'm gonna go - they are going to stay for a while and I already told them that they need to tip you." I told Hannah. She smiled at me before embracing me in a hug. "Goodnight. I'll see you guys whenever I see you!"

"Goodnight milady." John said, tipping his hat off of his head. I walked out of the kitsch grabbing my jacket off of the hook and stepped out of the backdoor into the freezing October weather.
