"So, I see you and Peter are finally together."
I looked over, seeing my mom standing in front of the stove with a smile on her face. I smiled back and nodded, pulling my messy hair into a bun, "Yeah. Wait, finally?"
"I always knew you two would end up dating, Madison. Aunt May and I would discuss this."
"I remember." I chuckled, sitting down on top of the bar, "I feel kind of guilty, though."
"Why?"
"Gwen just died and here I am, dating Peter." I sighed, shaking my head, "Do you think she would want this? Peter said she would have."
"I believe she would." mom nodded, placing the now cooked bacon on a plate, "She would want you two happy."
"I'm very happy." I stated in a quiet voice, "I'm going out with him today."
"What are you two doing?"
"Just going to the park, probably."
"Okay. Just be careful."
"I always am." I smiled, jumping down.
"I know, sweetie, but there's been some robberies. More than usual."
"We'll just be at the park." I pointed out.
"Just keep an eye out and tell Peter I said hello."
*~*~*~"Have you been helping the police with robberies?" I asked quietly, glancing over at Peter as we laid back on the ground.
Peter looked over at me, squinting against the sun, "Some. There's been an unusual amount recently."
"That's what mom was telling me. She said hi, by the way."
He nodded and grabbed my hand, "Nothing the police, or Spiderman, can handle."
"You're always careful, right?"
"It's just pointless robberies, Mads. Nothing to be wary of."
"When it's not a robbery, though."
"Of course." he murmured, "You saw how I fought the other night."
I swallowed and nodded, rolling over and resting my head on his shoulder, "How could I forget?"
Peter remember quiet, his thumb rubbing soothing circles on the back of my hand. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, taking in the scent of his cologne and freshly cut grass before letting out the breath slowly. Opening my eyes again, I saw Peter staring down at me, a small smile on his lips.
"What?" I giggled quietly.
"You're just so beautiful." he whispered, kissing my forehead.
I rolled my eyes and sat up, "Let's do something."
"Like what?" he asked, sitting up also.
"We can go buy a whole bunch of junk food then go back to your place and watch something on Netflix."
"You want to waste a beautiful day like this to watch Netflix?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
I smiled and nodded, not saying anything.
"That's something you would do." he laughed, standing up, "Let's go to the store."
*~*~*~*~"Those are so gross." I frowned as Peter picked up a box of Bottle Caps.
"These are amazing. Your argument is invalid." he stated, tossing them in the basket.
I chuckled and studied the candy in front of me, only to jump when a gun shot rang out through the store, a few people screaming. I blinked and looked over at Peter, who was instantly on high alert, looking around the store slowly.
Of course. Mom warns me about something and it happens.
"Hide." Peter muttered, pulling his jacket off, "I'll find you when I'm done."
I nodded and took his jacket as he handed it to me, the rest of his clothes following. He pulled his mask on before sneaking behind a shelf. I huffed out a breath of air before turning, only to run into a chest. I tensed up as the man grabbed my shoulder, turning me around and pressing something to my temple.
Of. Freaking. Course.
*~*~*~*~*~*~Didn't really have any ideas for this so sorry if it was bad xD
