Four Years Later (Peter Parker/Spiderman)

Dangling

"Now, Gwen! Do it now!" Peter yelled loudly, stuggling against Electro.

Gwen quickly pulled the handle, power soon turning on and Electro exploding. My eyes widened as I stood there in shock for a few moments before Gwen pulled me out of the building.

"I told you we could do it." Gwen smirked once we were outside.

"Yeah and we even have time to make your flight."

As soon as Peter said that, a creepy laugh filled the air. I raised an eyebrow and looked around. Peter turned, looking up and telling us to stay back. All of a sudden, a guy around our age on a glider floated down in the middle of us. He looked at Peter, then at us, then at Peter again, "Peter Parker." he spat.

"Harry.. What did you do?"

Harry? Harry Osborn? What happened to him?! I used to have the biggest crush on him when I was little. I shook my head and stood closer to Gwen as Harry and Peter talked. It happened so fast, I didn't even know what was happening; Harry had picked both Gwen and I up, rising high into the air.

"Harry, this isn't you." Gwen stated, panic in her voice.

He ignored her and looked at me, "Well, if it isn't little miss Madison." he smirked, showing off his sharp teeth, "Long time, no see."

"Yeah, I'm kind of glad too." I muttered, pushing my fears away.

He glared at me, lifting us above the huge clock. All of a sudden, something pushed as, causing Gwen and I to fall. I looked up, seeing Peter shoot a web at both of us, pulling himself to us and crashing into the glass, landing on a beam. I let out a breath and looked over at him, "Oh my God."

"Stay here. Both of you." he stated, standing up as Harry made his appearance in the clock.

I scooted over to Gwen and wrapped my arms around her tightly. I don't even know how it happened, but we were falling again, a scream escaping both of our lips. Peter shot two webs down at us, our hands grabbing them so we were just dangling there.

"Gwen, I'm so scared." I whispered, looking up at Peter as he fought Harry.

"I am too, Maddie. I just want you to know," she started as the gears in the clock started rolling towards the webs Peter had placed, "That you're my best friend and I love you. I never meant to be so mean to you back in middle school and at the beginning of high school."

"It's okay. I love you too, even though I only remember you from freshman year and graduation." I chuckled quietly, tears filling my eyes, "You've been a great best friend."

That's when the webs broke. Gwen fell before me, a gasp escaping both our lips. I looked up at Peter, who had knocked Harry out and was instantly falling for us. I closed my eyes tightly, feeling something land on my stomach. And then, we were dangling.

To change it up, should I keep Gwen alive? :o then I wouldn't know how to get Maddie and Peter together.. hm..
