Five and I blink back into Elliot's apartment as Lila sits on top of Diego on the couch.

"Oh. He isn't dead," Five points out.

"Disappointed?" Lila asks.

"Oh, to see you? Always," I smirk as I give Diego a small kiss on his sweaty forehead.

Lila stares me down as I smile up at her. Five gives me a poke in the back and my smile raises slightly.

"So much hostility in such a tiny package," Lila comments.

Five presses a piece of cloth onto this neck where Pogo scratched him as the two of us stood beside each other.

"Did you cut yourself shaving? I'm sure Fiona could teach you to shave like a big boy," Lila says sarcastically.

Five sighs, "no, we just ran into an old family friend."

As the room grows quiet again, I hear faint snoring from behind me. Five and I turn around and see Elliot passed out in his chair where we had tied him up before.

"You didn't untie him?" Five asks.

"Was I supposed to?" Lila questions back.

------------------------------------------------

As Five and I hang out around Elliot's apartment, an alarm starts buzzing from one of his many machines.

"Hey, we got one. Hey, one of those machines you asked for is going crazy," Elliot calls.

"Which one?" Five asks as we rush over.

"It's the, uh, atmospheric radar."

"Good," Five mumbles.

"I don't get it. What are you tracking? A hurricane? A storm front?" Elliot questions.

"Sound waves," Five and I chorus together with a smirk on our lips.

Five and I high five each other before we blink out of the room, leaving Elliot alone.

-------------------------------------------

Five and I trek through the cornstalks, searching for Vanya. All of a sudden, we burst through into an open patch of corn.

I look through the nearby stalks and smile as I head over to a certain part. I pull back the stalks and smile down at my sister.

"Hi, Vanya," I smile.

"Who are you two?" She asks, causing me to tilt my head.

"I'm your sister... and this is your brother."

"I have a sister? And a brother?" She questions again.

"Look, you can either stay here and wait for the IKEA mafia to come back to kill you, or you can come with us," Five says and grabs my hand, pulling me away.

"Wh... Why are they trying to kill me?" Vanya asks worriedly, following behind Five and I.

"'Cause you're not supposed to be here, Vanya," Five explains.

"In Dallas?"

"No. Here, in 1963," I finish for him.

The three of us exit the tall stalks into an area of flattened stalks.

Vanya stops, "holy shit."

"Yeah, pretty wild, right? It's good to see your powers are still intact. Let's go," Five pulls me away again.

--------------------------------------------

Five, Vanya, and I sit in the small cafe as the waitress fills our coffee cups. As she finishes up on Five's cup he stops her before she walks away.

"Leave the pot, dear," he smiles, "thank you."

You guys gonna tell me what the hell's going on?" Vanya whispers closely to me.

"When you were a baby, you were bought by an eccentric billionaire," Five begins.

"He raised you in an elite academy with seven other siblings with extraordinary powers," I continue.

"But in the year 2019, in order to avoid the apocalypse, we jumped into a vortex and ended up being scattered throughout the timeline in Dallas, Texas," Five finishes.

"Any questions?" I ask seriously.

"What do you mean, "the apocalypse"?"

"We mean the end of the world as we know it," Five answers.

"Yeah, but how?" she asks again.

"You really don't remember anything?" I question, getting concerned.

"No, nothing before a month ago."

"Then what do you remember?" Five asks.

"I landed in, like, a... back alley. Got hit by a car. My head was ringing like crazy. I had no idea how I got there, where I came from. What causes the apocalypse?"

"Asteroid impact. The big kaboom ends everything. Just like the one that got the dinosaurs, except way worse. Bad news is, it followed us here," Five explains.

"What do you mean, "followed us"?"

"Eight days from now, the world ends in a nuclear doomsday. It's a different disease, but... same result," I answer.

"That can't be right," she says, tilting her head.

"We saw it. With our own eyes," Five sighs.

"You were there. We all were," I finish.

"Shit. I need to make a phone call," Vanya hurries and gets up, heading over to the phone.

"Vanya," Five begins but she ignores us.

Five and I watch carefully as Vanya talks on the phone. All of a sudden, Five gets up, pulling me along with him, and hangs up the phone.

What the hell?" Vanya sneers.

"We don't have time for this," Five says.

"That's my friend you just hung up on," she yells quietly.

"Listen to me. Those people from the field are coming after us. They are never going to stop. Do you understand me? We need to stick together, find the others, figure out how to stop doomsday. Whoever this person is, they can't be more important than the end of the world. We need to go," Five explains.

Vanya looks at him and I for a second before finally putting the phone back into the receiver.

-------------------------------------------

Five, Vanya, and I walk into the dimly lit arena, watching the center of everyone's attention, Luther and another man fighting in the middle.

The three of us watch worriedly as Luther's energy goes up and he begins gaining on the man.

All of a sudden, his focus flips as he stands in the arena taking each blow to the face without a care in the world.

"Look, he's pummeling him," Vanya points out to Five and I.

The man grabs Luther's head and shoves him roughly into the wall between the three of us and the men.

"Oh, my God, Luther," I mumble.

"Why isn't he fighting back?" Five says irritatedly.

The man pulls Luther up again and stands him upright before punching him repeatedly in the stomach.

Luther begins yelling at the man to hit him and the man listens, throwing punches left and right.

"Luther, are you crazy? Just hit him!" I yell forcefully to my big brother.

Luther yells more and more at the man before the man backs up and winds up his fist, sending a big punch into Luther's lower jaw. Luther flys up into the air and we watch as if it were slow motion as Luther flies backward, hitting the ground with a large thud.

"Shit," Five and I say at the same time.

"Luther," I mumble.

"Why didn't he fight back?" Vanya asks.
