The End Of Something

Vanya pulls into Sissy's driveway and I gasp at the change of weather on the farm. Snow falls continuously and a blue storm hovers above the barn.

We all flood out of the car as soon as she puts it into park.

"You think whatever's going on inside is causing the cold front?" Diego asks as he rubs his hands up and down my arms, trying to keep me warm.

Five looks at the barn with us, "well, the correlation is high."

A woman bursts out of the barn with a shotgun causing us to duck to the ground.

"Sissy! Sissy!" Vanya shouts.

"Get back!" Sissy shouts, "all of you, just get the hell back!"

"Sissy! Hey! Hey! What's wrong?" Vanya shouts.

"Carl," Sissy whispers loudly.

"What did he do to you?"

Sissy shakes her head, "he's... He's dead. Harlan tossed him aside like a rag doll, same way you sent those policemen flyin'. What did you do to him?"

"No--"

"What the hell did you do to my son?"

"We don't have time for this," Diego states as he begins walking towards the barn.

"Where you think you're going, mister?"

"To help your son," Diego says slowly.

"Look, Sissy, I found my family. These are my brothers and my sisters," Vanya says shakily.

"Ma'am," Luther waves with a scared smile.

"Were you lyin' to me the whole time?" Sissy asks.

"Of course not. Look, I didn't know who I was. But I do now. And we are not the monsters that they say we are. We did not kill the president. We are not terrorists. We're not here to hurt anyone."

"Then... who are you?"

"The only one who can help Harlan."

Vanya pulls the barn door open as we all rush into the barn. A strong tornado-like rotation sits in front of us with a young boy floating in the middle of it.

"Harlan, it's Vanya!" Vanya screams over the strong wind.

"Look, Harlan, I know you're really scared, but I can help you. I need you to listen to me, okay? Can you do that?" She continues yelling, even though the boy cannot move or answer her.

Vanya looks over at Sissy and Sissy nods at her.

Vanya's eyes turn white and she steps inside the rotation with ease.

"Careful," Five says out loud.

I hear a zap beside me and walk to the sound, Klaus comes behind me as he is the only other person that heard the sound.

We both walk towards the open door and our eyes focus in on two figures in the field near the farm. Lila and the Handler.

"Uh... guys?" I shout to our siblings behind Klaus and I.

"What?" Diego asks and they all rush over to join Klaus and I.

"Who are they?" Klaus asks.

"One's the Handler, the other's Diego's girlfriend," I explain as I make a disgusted face.

"Lila. That's my ex-girlfriend," Diego corrects.

"You know what? Doesn't matter. They both look angry," Luther interrupts.
