It had been rough settling back in at home. I wasn't used to sleeping in a room by myself anymore. Well, I'd really only had the room to myself for about a month before school started, so it was fairly understandable. I used to share a room with Rosemary before she graduated, but when she moved out, I got the room all too myself. At the time, I thought it was the greatest thing in the world, but after all this time, it did feel a little lonely. But, Rosemary had come to stay for a few days, which made it a bit more bearable.

But today I was going to be the opposite of lonely. I was going to get dropped off at the Weasley household, where there were currently seven people staying. It was only one or two more people than were in my house at most times, but from what I know of them from the past school year, they were much louder and much wilder than any of the five of us combined.

I was very much looking forward to going, however, I was not looking forward to what Amaryllis wanted to me to wear.

"It's cute. I don't see the problem." She said as she stared at our reflections in the mirror.

She had put me in a denim dress with cap sleeves that went down passed my knees. It was hideous...

"I look like a little kid! I didn't even know that I owned this." I said.

"Last time I checked, you were a kid." She said, arms crossed.

"Mum," Rosemary said, leaning against the door frame, "She's fourteen now, a proper teenager. Don't you think she can pick out some clothes for herself?"

"So you don't think it's cute?" Amaryllis asked, looking over her shoulder at Rosemary.

"For someone like Leilani or maybe Gardenia," Rosemary laughed.

"Fine, since you don't need me anymore. I guess I'll just go." Amaryllis huffed, wiping away fake tears as she walked out of the room.

We watched her leave, knowing that by the time that I got dressed and made my way downstairs, she would be over it. Or maybe she'd leave me alone with how I dress and take on the obstacle of looking after Leilani or Oleander. Ollie can't tell anyone no, so, what's stopping her from intruding on his wardrobe choices while she still can.

"Alright, hot shot, go ahead and dress yourself for the first time ever." Rosemary said, holding her arms out towards the wardrobe.

I looked at the overwhelming amount of colors that peered at me from the wardrobe. I had picked out my clothes before and never thought anything of it, but having my much cooler, older sister breathing down my neck as I did so made it nerve wracking. Well, she was a lot cooler now than she was when she was at Hogwarts.

She was very much like me, with her nose in a book at all times, but she had a lot of friends that were more like Heather and she's always nice to everyone, so she was always popular. But now? Sure, she ran a book shop in Paris, but she was married to the lead guitarist of a magical rock band and they were more alike than either of them cared to admit...

"I might not need Amaryllis to help me anymore, but do you think you could have me a hand?" I asked.

I wanted to make a good impression on Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. I know I met her on the platform, but I was still wearing my uniform at that point. I got so caught up in talking that even if I had wanted to go and change, I would've forgotten about it.

Rosemary pretended to think about my question, but stepped into the room as she nodded.

"Okay, lets get this fixed, like, now. You look horrible." Rosemary said, trying to hold back a smile.

Rosemary went to the wardrobe, quickly flicking through my closet, wearing the occasional look of disgust. We didn't get new clothes often, and when we did, they still weren't technically new, just new to us. We wore hand-me-downs from each other or other people, and we bought from second hand shops. If we needed anything specific, Amaryllis would take us to the store and let us pick out something. Then, she'd look it over and make it with some of her own fabric at home.
