"Alright does everyone have everything they need, because the soonest you'll be coming home is Christmas, and I'm not owling you your toothbrushes," Amaryllis asked as Leilani, Oleander, and I stood in our kitchen, trunks and pets at our feet.

"Yes, we have everything, mum, can we just go?" Leilani huffed.

"Everything?"

"Yes, everything." She rolled her eyes.

"Wand?"

Leilani's eyes widened and she clapped her hand down over her mouth before taking off upstairs, mumbling to herself.

"How do you forget your wand?" Oleander laughed.

"Do you have your broom?" Amaryllis asked.

"Yep! Packed it this morning," Oleander grinned.

"What about your cauldron?"

"Packed it two days ago, mum. Do you take me for an idiot?" He huffed.

"Do you have your toothbrush?" She eyed him suspiciously.

His smile faltered as he thought about it. He let out a loud groan as he stomped upstairs and I couldn't help but laugh.

"What about you? Are you sure you have everything?" She asked, arms crossed over her chest.

"Wand, broom, gloves, owl, books, parchment, quills, cauldron, toothbrush, hairbrush, clothes, winter coat, rain coat, pyjamas, dressing gown, socks, gloves, regular clothes, Hogsmeade money, and myself. Am I missing anything?" I asked, thinking over anything that I could have left behind.

"I suppose not," She said, happy that someone had managed to be able to pack for themselves.

"Wait, actually, I did forget something." I said, rushing to the stairs.

"Merlin's beard," I heard Amaryllis sigh, "Maybe we'll get to the train before it leaves the station!"

I threw open the door to my empty room, which was only made to look even emptier thanks to the open wardrobe that exposed the fact that I had packed literally everything I owned. I rushed over to my vanity and unlocked the little jewelry box that Amaryllis had given me for my eleventh birthday.

Inside were two bracelets. They weren't of any value, being made out of nothing but some elastic string and plastic beads, but they held sentimental value. One was the yellow and black good luck charm that I wore at practically all times while at Hogwarts. The other was a red and yellow pattern with 'Jordan' and 'commentator' spelled out in white letter beads.

Lee Jordan and I had been owling one another all summer, and I found that while he was extremely passionate about quidditch, and enjoyed pranking like the twins, he had a much calmer demeanor when it came to every day things. We'd become really close, and I felt like if I made charms for the rest of my friends, that it would be wrong to leave him out. Not to mention, the one time he asked me if I wanted to hang out fell on the day of Adrian's party which I had already confirmed I'd be going to.

I felt awful because, if I was being honest, I would have much rather gone to see the Balleycastle Bats play the Holyhead Harpies. How he got tickets, I had no idea, but he told me that next time, it didn't matter what sort of event I was planning on going to, he was taking me and he'd handle the consequences after the fact.

He'd had to take his mum, and she just wasn't as into it as he had been. He said that it would have been a lot more fun if I'd have gone, and I couldn't help but think he was right. I loved both teams with my whole heart (even if I did lean a bit more towards the bats) and Lee had a passion for the game like no other. We would've had a blast.
