Everyone stopped whatever they were doing and looked up and stared. Some looked at him with admiration, some looked at him with jealousy, some looked at him thunderstruck, and some looked at him with hatred. He limped down the giant room where the guards led him. He was limping heavily, but he looked like a war hostage. His head turning to each angle examining his surroundings, he was terrified, he had no idea where he was and how he was still alive. He looked down at his handcuffed hands in awe. He was still alive!

He passed by a cell where there were four men huddled around a TV. They looked back at him with a smirk and edged away slightly from the TV, so he could see what they were watching. A boy was being viewed on the small screen, he bleeding heavily, and he looked like he was dying. Many soldiers surrounded him making rude and sexual gestures towards him. Anyone could identify that they had full glee on their faces. One of the soldiers picked up the boy into a bear hug, and unfortunately the boy couldn’t do anything but look limp and soft in the giant man’s arms.

“That’s you!” One of the prisoners by the TV laughed. "Here you look pathetic and there you look pathetic.”

“Be quiet in there before I shoot you!” One of the guards said with a booming voice making everyone go silent. "Heath will be sharing this Hall with everyone, and whoever disagrees, feel free to argue with the Heads. That is if you dare!" Everyone was silent, and slowly they all turned away to avoid any more eye contact with any of the guards and Heath himself. They all started to pretend as if Heath wasn't being walked down to his cell.

Slowly, the buzzing of chattering started to escalate and Heath felt a bit of relief. At least he wasn't feeling pressed down by all the stares. Now he decided to have a good look of his Hall, he had nothing better to do. As anyone else, the first thing he realized was that the Hall was vast. It was filled with guards guarding almost every cell door and exit. Heath looked up and saw that there were two levels in the Hall. There were little metal staircases at each end of the Hall and in the middle that led up to the narrow path that was in front of the second level lockups. Heath wasn’t surprise that the second level narrow path had bars to keep anyone from falling off. The path was so narrow that it was dangerous to walk with a safety little wall against it.

Estimating inside his head, Heath figured that the width of the Hall would fit at least seven school buses in length, and for the length of the Hall, it would at least need around twenty buses. Heath couldn’t help but feel amazed by the massiveness of this Hall. He doubted that the other Halls and rooms that are any smaller. Then he noticed that the right side of the Hall’s cells were all men, and the other side were all women.

As they neared to the last cell in the Hall, Heath noticed that there was a heavy looking metal door in the wall, marking the end of the Hall. Curiosity filled inside him, he wanted to know who is the person locked up inside. He was positive that it was someone very dangerous or a big threat.

“Hey it’s him!” Someone exclaimed excitedly from the second last cell. Heath snapped his attention towards a boy who looked slightly younger than him. He was shorter than him, and probably either the same height as Tyler or a bit shorter too. The boy had dark hair with dark eyes. His smile was wide and it lit up his whole face. However, even though he had the perfect face structure, his teeth weren’t perfect. They weren’t perfectly straight like Heath’s but some teeth were slightly crooked.

“Shut up,” The guard that was accompanying Heath snapped. “Let the boy be!”

The boy looked slightly taken aback. Then quickly recovered, “No, no, I wasn’t mocking him!” He gripped the bars tightly, “I’m just excited to see someone from the same city as me!” As he blabbered on Heath noticed there some type of problem with his speaking. It was hardly noticeable but some words were slightly said with hint of a “sh” sound. Heath was thinking maybe it was a minor lisp, but he wasn’t too sure.
