The room was dark, where Mina stood. The only light, a dull haze, coming from outside. She stared at the sky as though its angry rain, depicting her own inner turmoil. Though her exterior calm, inside, her racing heart and mind wouldn't let her rest.

"Ms. Myoui, there is a call for you."

Mina kept her eyes at the sole lamp post across the street. As if watching something still would keep her from falling.

"I'm not taking any calls right now."

"It's an anonymous caller. They say they know about Ms.Son."

Mina bit her tongue to keep from yelping. She looked at the helper standing in her tan suit shirt and matching pants.

Mina reached her arm out and grabbed the phone.

"Myoui speaking."

She hid the slight tremble in her voice.

"Mmmm, Ms. Myoui, it's nice to be acquainted with you. You know I was wondering what to say on this call. Because I hadn't yet decided how I was going to torture your precious girlfriend."

Mina felt a small tremble in her hand, but she knew she had to show strength, no sign of emotion. She clasped her hand into a fist and spoke.

"Get to the point."

"Oh, serious are we now. Well, if you want your precious baby back, I want the throne and 250 million in cash. Let's just say call it a 'trade,' shall we."

"No."

"Oh? I guess she isn't that important to you, now is she. Well, then I just found myself a little toy to torture, don't I. You don't mind if I keep her, do you, Ms. Myoui? It's not like you love her." He accentuated the word "love" and began a maniacal laugh before the call went dead with a click.A lone tear cascaded down Mina's cheek, and the phone fell with a clack on the wooden floor. The thunder rang out, and Mina felt a fire ignite in her. She wiped her cheeks and left the room.

I could feel my heart pounding, the stench of rust and the cold from the shackles around my legs and hands waking me up. I couldn't see anything as the blindfold over my eyes left me impaired. But due to that, every noise around me was amplified. I could hear small rustlings and squeaks every now and then. My adrenaline had kept me from feeling scared, but I could feel it in my gut, something unfortunate was going to happen. Last I knew, I was speaking to a girl by the sushi. She had short colored hair and was very sweet. Ryujin, her name was, I remember my sight went blurry, and I fell into her arms.

The sound of a door skidding on the floor was heard, and I felt my skin go cold, and I began shivering. Just then, the clacking of shoes sounded my way.

"My my, Ms. Son, seems like you're all mine to take."

"W-where am I?"

Chaeyoung voiced out her question, a shiver in her voice. When she felt an ice-cold blade on her pale skin. The metal stung as it scraped her porcelain skin.

"Let's just say you're... on earth" a boisterous laugh was heard. It hurt Chaeyoung's ears. When abruptly, her blindfold was pulled away from her face, ripping some of her hair out with it. She adjusted her eyes to the empty cement walls. A single light hung from the ceiling like an interrogation room. The door across from Chaeyoung flew open. She seemed to be in a snowy tundra. She watched the snow colliding with the ground in force and the harsh winds swaying it to the side, but before she could discover more, the door closed, and the one responsible for it was a tall, lanky man. He held in his hand a knife. A top hat, covering his thick head of hair. His clothes as though they belonged in a circus, and a grin that belonged in a mental hospital. Chaeyoung stayed quiet. If there was one thing she learned in her years alive, it was, don't make someone holding a murder weapon mad.

"Here, let's get you out of those handcuffs, now shall we. I'm not the kinky kind."

He moved closer to her, a key swinging on his finger. He unbuckled the shackles on her legs and hands as he spoke.

"So seems your girlfriend doesn't mind if you live or die. So now you're my property. But you know what I think." He stopped and faced her. Leaning down to graze her chin, he moved closer to her ear and spoke in his slimy voice, "She's bluffing," Pulling himself upright and thrusting his pointer finger in the air, he uttered, "So we're going to send a message." He ended up in front of a door and pulled it open, letting Chaeyoung enter the pitch-black room first. "If you know what I mean." The laughter was heard again as the lights flickered on to reveal an operating table. The floor red where it stood and cameras were mounted to the side.

Chaeyoung's eyes widened seeing the setup, and she began to run away before her wrist was grabbed harshly. "Ya know, Ryujin tells me to never unshackle them, but for some reason, I find the chase fun. It makes for better footage." He shut the door and pulled Chaeyoung into the room. Strapping her arms and legs to the table. He pulled out a needle, "This won't hurt, I think," All that was left was a piercing scream from the room.

Mina abruptly awoke from her bed. A thick coat of sweat covering her skin. The moon was high up in the sky by now, and her head was pounding. Bang had forced a couple of sleep meds down her throat in an attempt to make her sleep. She quickly pulled away from the bed and ran out to the police officers in her hall. They had burger wrappers thrown to the side and were clacking away at their computers working on tech. The call she had received was tracked. But they had yet to find the location. Whoever took Chaeyoung had planned this, way, in advance. Their position was hidden under many firewalls, hard to penetrate. It had been a total of 12 hours since Chaeyoung had gone missing. Seeing Mina, Bang Chan came closer.

"Hey, you should go and eat or sleep, don't be here right now."

"I don't need your concern, thank you, Bang. I need Chaeyoung."

"They are close looking for her."

"They have been close ever since I left this room."

Mina's voice rose, and it left everyone in the room frozen. She glared at the now sweating and nervous men and women looking for her. She sat on the sofa to the left. Watching the screen as if she could break through the firewall with her wrath.

After about 30 minutes, a voice yelled out amongst the crowd, "We found her! She's in the Alps at XYZYZYXZYX."

Mina abruptly stood onto her feet, and amongst the cheering people, she spoke to Bang Chan, "Get the chopper."
