Hey everybody!  Sorry I didn't update sooner.  Thanksgiving was super hectic, and ever since school started again, life's been confusing.  XD

I know PLB and I updated the Jumanji AU, but that added to the hectic-ness.  Anyway, now that I have some time time on my hands, I've decided to update.  Yay me!  Ok, so here you go!

Percy Jackson's P.O.V.  (First Person)

The first couple hours of sleep were surprisingly...peaceful.  That was definitely not a good sign.  Ever since Annabeth and I got out of Tar-The Pit, we've had awful nightmares.  That's why we'd have to sleep in the same bed to make sure we were still alive.  Now, Annabeth was all the way at Camp, and the Avengers were sleeping in my room.

Anyway, I didn't have any dreams for what seemed like, 2-3 hours(A new record!  Yay!).  Then, the black screen in front of my eyes started swirling, and before I knew it, I was back in The Pit, in all it's heated up glory.  I tried to move, but I found myself chained to a wall, shirtless and burning.  My wrists felt sore, and I hadn't even tried to get out of the chains yet.

Suddenly, there was squish noise in front of me, and I saw a horrific scene take place.  Tartarus, the primordial himself, started forming. His face came out of the ground first, then his arms started forming.  He pushed himself out of the ground, and stood in front of me, grinning coldly.

Ever seen the picture of the body showing all the nerves and muscles in science class?  The muscular system or something like that?  Yeah well, that's what Tartarus looked like, except, he had dark purple skin, steam emanating from him.  Oh, and he was also like, 25 feet tall.  His eyes were black voids, like he ate Chaos and trapped it inside himself.  Wisps of smoke came out of his eyes, and for a second he looked like an evil anime character.  He had fangs when he bared his teeth, and worst of all, his clawed hands held two whips.

The primordial chuckled without , "Ah, Perseus Jackson. It's been quite a while.  Has it not?"

"Not enough, you overgrown prune," I found myself saying.  It was like, I didn't have control over my words...not like I ever do...

Tartarus snarled at me before brandishing one of his whips, "Watch what you say to me, boy.  I'm not as forgiving as my wife is."

I rolled my eyes, deciding to get into character, "News flash, bud!  Your wife's dead, and do you think I care? I'll escape you. I've done it before, and I'll do it again."

Tartarus flung his whip and hit me square in the chest.  I cringed, holding in the pain.  Tartarus chuckled, "I forgot how much fun this used to be.  Now, little hero, let's see what it takes for you to scream."

He curled his whips around his wrists and started hitting me, one by one, the lashes bruised my chest, cutting deeper and deeper.  Tartarus got impatient as kept my screams in.  He took out a small, curved blade - a baby scythe - dripping deep green liquid

He touched the tip and watched as a golden droplet of ichor trailed down his finger, "Yes...this will do just fine."

With that, he snapped his fingers and transported me off the wall.  I was still chained, but this time to poles.  My arms and legs were separated, and my bare back was showing.  There was a pot of boiling fire under me, billowing hot smoke, effectively giving me burns.  It took a lot to keep from gasping in pain.  Tartarus walked up to me, smirking. I had a dreadful suspicion about what was going to happen.  Tartarus shrunk himself to human size and ran his hand across the blade gently.

Then, he went for it.  He cut me.  The cuts weren't deep, but they hurt like Hades.  The blade was definitely poisoned.  He cut in the same places over and over again, allowing me to bleed out.  I was panting heavily, and when he decided to whip me on my cuts, I couldn't hold it in any longer.  I screamed.  I screamed loud and clear.

Tartarus kept going, laughing horribly.  I cried and thrashed.  I almost begged it to stop, but before I could, he did just that.  He put his torture tools away and even made the fire pot vanish.  I sighed in relief, the pain still ripping through me.  He looked at me and gave me a look of fake pity.

"Do you feel pain, young Perseus?" He asked me.

All I could do was grit my teeth and glare at him, getting some satisfaction in when he flinched.  Tartarus recomposed himself as he said, "No matter.  You'll be back down here young hero, and until you are, I'll visit your dreams every night.  Sleep tight."

Then, the dream ended, making me jerk awake to the sight of some very scared Avengers and a very bloody couch.
